Hello Martin,
Can you tell me where in the Ts & Cs it says about the £100 spend so that I can check to see if I have the same offer.
Regards, Lewis Gerolemou0 -
It's actually not part of the ts and cs put part of the main offer itself. In the para explaining 'get the year's extra 0%' it goes on to say providing you spend at least £100Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

Hello Martin,
It looks like I have a different offer, I can't find any reference to the £100 spend anywhere in the info I received.

Is there any sort of "reference number" for the offer which I can quote if I phone them? Thanks.0 -
Hello Robjo2,
I gave a reference no in an earlier post but I now believe that this is some sort of postal reference.
There are however several other numbers on the offer letter. Next to the bar code: 8453/SEP Time limited application deadline 29 OCT 2004. On the bottom of the Short application form SF00068.
There is also a free helpline if you have any questions,
0800 952 5450.

I can confirm the same codes on my document as Lewis has stated a couple of posts above. Wish I had spotted this thread before emailing Martin scans of the form! Emailed him last night about this and he replied whilst I was at work this morming. This seems like a very good offer to me as long as we can get a reasonable credit limit. As Martin stated above, the £100 or so won't cost much to borrow over the 12 months.
Capital One here we come! ;D

The only downfall appears to be a minimum repayment of 3% each month.0

Gobbyash,
3% (or £5) - That's standard!
Unfortunately after such a long interest free period we'll have paid back quite a bit of the original loan.
Shame eh! ;DKeep SmilingSite member number 24

I am a former Capitol One customer, but I cancelled my card a year or so ago. I rang them tonight after reading this post and asked whether I could apply for the 18 Months @ 0% and was told YES. So it seems to be available upon request. They are sending the app form out in the post.0
