Not typosquatting though is it? I don't need Google rankings for that. OK, it'll only catch a small number of people who were minded to pay up, but every little helps.

Yes I know but it was just another idea
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Right, have just suggested a campaign on 38Degrees for a full Judicial review into the actions taken by the BPA.

The only way for the campaign to be considered is for enough people to vote for it.
Spread the word and this LINK .

If this goes viral, we may yet see some scum from the BPA up before someone with enough powers to jail them. Now wouldn't that be a great result.

Nice idea, but unfortunately a JR is something which can only be undertaken against a public body, which the BPA are not.

I was proposing to take this sort of action against the DVLA/Dept. for Transport, but the costs are likely to be £50K+.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

Well, if enough people vote for the campaign, I'm sure 38Degrees will be more than happy to remove the mention of 'Judicial Review' and replace it with the appropriate course of action.

I bet if you try to appeal to Popla and they deem it to fall outside the 4 reasons for appealing the parking company won't get charged....

...I've got an exclusive picture of the Popla employee whom will be dealing with appeals.

The question is "reject appeal as falls outside remit" with the beak over "Y"
  • They seem to have omitted the "totally ignore" option on the site ?
