Yes contract has ended in July and I have given notice in July as well. That notice didn't seem have been registered in their system. I spoke with them and they offered me and upgrade which I refused.
Your contract didn't end in July - the minimum term ended in July. So have you now got some kind of confirmation from Talkmobile that you are cancelling your contract? When does your 30 day notice expire? You will need to keep paying until then.0 -
My contract ended in July as I gave them 30 day notice in July. But that notice seem to have disappeared from their system. This is just harassment by Talk Mobile and I just want to know if others have faced similar problems.0

I had a pay monthly contract with TalkMobile, apart from incredibly dodgy service, and reception, I had no real issues with them for the term of my contract. However, when it came time to cancel my contract I called them up a month before to confirm my confirmation. I spoke to someone on two different occasions (one cancellation call and one 'special offers' call). However, three months later I realised they were still charging me for my contract.
I called them straight away to speak to them about this issue: they blankly refused to acknowledge that I had even called to cancel. Then I had to chase up with them over a further 3 phones. I finally got my money back, but it was the wrong amount. Having called back again and been told by CS that I didn't understand how the system worked; I finally got them to admit that I had to be paid and correct amount. After waiting three days: THEY STILL SENT ME THE INCORRECT AMOUNT!
I called back today and asked to speak directly to the manager, who had the gall to tell me that I was only owed the amount they paid me (contrary to what my bank record and their own records had said back in September) but he was willing to 'honour' what they had previously quoted at me. He assured me that in 3-5 days I should be reimbursed (not before telling me another 2 times that it was only his goodwill that he was doing it out of).
Lets wait and see.0
