So are you both saying i cannot now return it?

They dont have a return 'policy' so it depends whether you think they have broken the law

Did CPW contractually agree to give you cashback?

If the cashback is via 3rd party site then i dont think they'll take it back but always worth a try
When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?

The law doesn't have to be broken for a customer to be able to return. The law (DSR) clearly says that customers have a right to cancel the purchase within 7 (not 14!) working days and return, no question asked.

Which is why I differenciated between 'policy' and 'law '

  • has anyone had problems with talk mobile network ie not being able to make or receive calls or texts or not use data?
  • Hi all
I was just about to get a phone from talkmobile. Now i am more confused than ever. The reports here make them seem okay, but after doing a google search for talkmobile reviews i just seen loads of poor reviews on a site which has loads of customer comments with feedback indicating that customer service is pretty poor. Think i'll give them a miss.
  • I've been with Talkmobile for a few years now, and have always found the Customer Service to be decent and polite to deal with. I'm not saying I haven't had slight issues at contract renewal times, but they were eventually dealt with. I also think there's sometimes confusion when Talkmobile are mentioned online, as they get associated with TalkTalk Mobile.

Have to say though, I don't think their present deals are quite as generous as they once were.
  • It's nice to read of others good experiences! Mine is not so good. I am on their £7.50 package coupled with a Samsung Ace. Excellent value, if only it worked!! Constantly (even if the phone is showing a full signal) I have Emergency Only service! Three times today alone (it could be more often, but often you don't know until you try to use it). Customer service advice is take it to a CPW shop; which I've done quite a few times now. They say this shouldn't happen take out the SIM, wipe it on their shirt and stuff it back in. Needless to say it then works, because switching it off and back on again is exactly how you clear it because it makes a new connection. In other words they haven't a clue and just fob you off. A guy in my local store on one visit told me that CPW have nothing to do with Talkmobile any more, but would look at it for me as a favour. So I also carry a spare cheapo Virgin PAYG which always works. What's the old expression "if it looks too good to be true; then it is"!! Never again, utter rubbish. I've been a TalkTalk internet & phone customer for years, right back to when they first started with hardly a problem. But their phone systems sucks.............
