Hello
Love your posts, just wanted to wish you all the best, you seem to have the right attitude and when you start seeing those numbers go down it's real motivationI set myself a challenge very similar to yours and managed to get debt free (well apart from student loan) by 30, I'm now 31 and desp. trying to save but have a sneaky lil'£500 credit card balance and a shiny big bottle of Dot that is so lush but you're right the scent doesn't hang round that long at all.
Anyway good luck treacle, you're in the best place for motivation and inspiration!
Xx
Awesome that you are debt free - well done!!
This place is amazing. No one judges you for being a plonker!! I don't think I have ever faced up to it without Martin Lewis!! I'd be making minimum payments FOREVER!CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

You and me both, I bet there are hundreds of grateful people who owe all of their financial education to the likes of Martin Lewis for starting us on the road to recovery.Been here for a long time and don't often post

I think I spoke too soon! Some silly troll has gone loopy at me on the bank account forum with no basis for it.
I think I'll just stick to the debt free forum. People seem more decent here even though we're terrible with money!CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

:j Yey! Just found some Spendaholics episodes on YouTube. Remember that show from bbc3? Some good tips picked up already.
Maybe getting out cash for food is the way & my current account is solely for direct debits & CC is the way forward? Means I could... dum dum duuuuuuum...leave my debit card at home :eek:CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

And afternoon now! You're doing so well with your October NSDs! I'm counting today as a NSD even though I have spent £1.70 because I found a £2 coin on the floor this morning :money:
I probably should have squirreled it away but I was desperate for some fruit so went for an Innocent Smoothie (the green one with no bananas - so much nicer than the normal ones!)
Anyway waffle over... must do some work and earn my mahoney! :cool:CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14
