Yes join me! It really does stop you spending on the odd bit or bob
Home now with monster headache. Work is mad busy & there are not many decent colleagues to delegate to so if I want something doing right I do it myself :mad:CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

No NSD today because we're having a little date night & going to the local Indian. Luckily I'm a Gourmet Society member so we get amazon dish for free

Oh actually (again non-mse related), I will never regret buying my Kindle. I bought a new book this morning called Room. I think it was a best seller last year...? Anyway it's brilliant & horrendous all at the same time. It cost £1.99. So much better than a £9.99 DVD!CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%

Just had a quick look at the synopsis of Room, oh that would stress me out reading that! Sounds like a good gripping read though!
I'm reading Then We Came To The End which is about an advertising agency in Chicago in the 90's and all the characters there....it's quite dark but funny. Free from the library

Ooo I'll download that!
Yeah Room is pretty heavy. It's read in the voice of the 5 year old and it's just so sinister. I have to know how it ends now. I already care about the characters just 10% of the way in!
I've also downloaded a free sample Cheryl Cole's autobiography for light relief afterwards!
It's nearly Plane Crash time.... I've gone for seat 27F. :rotfl:CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

YEAH for boyfriend paying..get a Tastecard too.. more choice..
I was forced to take all my money out last month and had £150 to last just over 2 weeks. That included about £60-£60 for petrol / a staff do etc.. not great. But my goodness it makes you think before you buy anything cause you can physically see the cash deplete...do it, great way to sail through a few NSD's..; - )
And I agree on the Kindle.. will never part from it... will Amazon that and have a gander...
I especially save money by being very single...lol!!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Yeah I do think there a major pros and cons to being single/in a relationship with MSE! I could live off of pasta bake every day for a week but I don't think he would be delighted by the idea! But on the flip side he does stop me spending a lot because he's amazing with money.
Payday is next Friday so I'm going to budget with cash. Lots of people on here seem to do pretty well and I really avoid spending actual cash when possible! I'm just card crazy... or was!CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

My new focus, on top of being debt free by 30, is to actually have something major planned. I'm thinking a trip to New York. I've ALWAYS wanted to go and I ideally want to pay for my boyfriend too.
Long way to go though...CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14
