Debt Free By 30 - Mission Possible?

Hi mockingjay, just been reading your diary and I really like your debt free attitude and the way you have thrown yourself at the mission with gusto!
I like Zooey as well
The person with the car in the car park is probably in debt and paying it off, it's usually the unassuming person who isn't wearing or driving anything flash that has pots of money in the bank!
My partner is a bit flash with his fancy hair gel that costs 8 quid and his diesel and g star and calvin klein clothes and pants, and I'm a matalan girl and 5 pants for a tenner type - he's always having to borrow money off me!
Good luck on your debt busting!0 -
Thanks guys! I know it's evil but I was thinking she must be getting herself into debt somehow and she's ALWAYS going abroad. There must be at least one maxed out credit card in her Mulberry purse right...
Just transferred £200 from current account to CC as it was just sitting there & I still have another £300ish available. I used to hate moving out of my current account in case I needed it. By 'needing it' I mean, in case Marc Jacobs bought out another perfume. Damn his lovey scents!
New debt free date is December 2013!CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

Hi, I've read your diary and am subscribing. I've just jumped on the debt free wannabe bandwagon and its always good to read about someone else's progress to inspire and keep you on the straight and narrow

Beccie - My lovely Mum bought me Dot for my birthday. It smells lovely but it doesn't last very long. My Body Shop 'Love Etc' was a quarter of the price and lasts all day. Damn Marc and his pretty packaging!!
Hug&Roll - Yes following diaries is inspirational! I hope one day I can do that for someone! I'm following around 15 at the moment!!
Kat - Stay strong at the airport! But no harm in asking if they have any samples you could try...! I once came away from Boots with 5 miniatures!
Hannah - Thank you sweets! I can't get debt free soon enough! I want too many pretty things - MUST RESIST!
Off to get some sausages for dinner now. I will only look at the meat aisle and the not clothing/dvds/skincare/candles section bit...!CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

Hello
Love your posts, just wanted to wish you all the best, you seem to have the right attitude and when you start seeing those numbers go down it's real motivationI set myself a challenge very similar to yours and managed to get debt free (well apart from student loan) by 30, I'm now 31 and desp. trying to save but have a sneaky lil'£500 credit card balance and a shiny big bottle of Dot that is so lush but you're right the scent doesn't hang round that long at all.
Anyway good luck treacle, you're in the best place for motivation and inspiration!
