Congrats on the new balance, that's fantastic! Did you have the option to revert to a 2.5% BMR? This is what we're on at the moment..... I like it as it allows op's, borrow backs etc etc.0
-
Yes can op but not borrow back which is a real shame, as need to keep an emergency fund. The 2 ones I changed for April and June are 2.64 so it must have only just dropped to that, as sorted them about 2 months before.
Hope you had a good holiday!
Have managed all day without eating anything naughty. Although DH has just eaten some gorgeous smelling cheese on toast and I nearly said yes when he offered to make me some.
Went to aerobics tonight, dd3 swimming, dd2 still not. Asked if I could claim dd2s swim money back as not there due to her broken toe rather than any other reason, had the fracture clinic / GP letter to prove and I was very pleasantly surprised that they did, so have a voucher for £21.75 for her next block.

Last months wages were very good, too good in fact. Anyway checked wage slip (job 2 which should be zero hours) and they have been paying me my 4 hours contracted, queried it with pay services as clearly not good to be overpaid, anyway has been going on since jan 21st so I owe them I don't know how much, my best guess is 68 hours pay. I have asked the question, they wont take it out as a lump sum with they, they said not, waiting to find out how many instalments and how much... S**T. At least I spotted now, albeit months in!Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

That's rotten HDK, sorry to hear it. I was overpaid in my last job and like you, I wasn't aware of it, as it happened after I changed posts. I knew that I had to pay it back, but I still felt a bit robbed as I hadn't done anything 'wrong'.
Ah well, at least it's the weekend.0 -
Thanks Ed. The only positive is that all extra money has been going straight into mortgage rather than even remotely frittered away so I suppose in effect the NHS will pay that moneys interest on my morgage... that's the best spin I can put on it as quite cheesed off, Im calm now but waiting to hear the damage which potentially is nearly 2 weeks full time wages. A little annoyed its me who picked it up as how long could it have gone on for, I normally check my wages religiously but since the off duties went electronic and linked directly to time sheets I had become relaxed due to chances of being wrong virtually nil. As I'm a manager, I've always been really careful as felt you have to be even more scrupulous over your own wages so welcomed this new system. Oh well....Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

That is bad news, I hope they make it as painless as possible when they take it back!
Like you say, at least you haven't frittered it on a new TV and a load of takeaways or something.:(Jan 2013-£140,231.65

Oh dear HDK, that happened to me a few years ago (£1,400), and again when my pension was paid last August. (£5,200) the only thing to be aware of, when it's paid back, make sure it is taken off the cumulative total on the payslip and the p60 at end of year. Mine didn't. I am still in correspondence with my ex employer about getting it resolved, as there were tax and ni implications. Pay it back in as small an instalment as possible. They should be fine as long as it's cleared by the end of the tax year! ;(]Mortgage 1. At start £46,000, may 1996 jan 11 £27363.58  Dec 11 £25,289.00 December 12 £21,882.68

Julie is an existing nw mortgage customer, she got the same rate and the £100 cashback. Thanks for the heads up HDK.:T]Mortgage 1. At start £46,000, may 1996 jan 11 £27363.58  Dec 11 £25,289.00 December 12 £21,882.68

Poop re the salary balls up, so annoying when those things happen..... Agree that you should pay the minimum over as long as possible.0
