Thanks and yes sooo hope they don't take back too quickly, pay day 27th and havent heard anything.

Officially dieting, a week last wednesday, was that magical time of the month and felt particularly bloated and weighed self on wii, have since been trying hard as suitably and completely and utterly ashamed.. all time high but not in a good way! Reweighed wednesday and lost 6lbs, Im thinking that some of that was related to weigh in being at "that time" anyway baited breath for this wednesday (am not going to get into that every day weigh trap). My weight last wednesday was my last noted all time high which seems symbolic..

As ever HDK you are awesome at mortgage reductions and assignment submissions....gutting to read about the salary c@ck up though, hope they agree to slow pay back:cool:

Re weight, I definitely carry extra at the time of my 'lady days' (although also eat extra, so this shouldn't come too much of a surprise to me!!)

Thanks NP, but assignment not done yet and I have the next 2 weeks as 6 day'ers unless I can wangle a day off somewhere so not sure when I will get any more done.
We are now into school wind down so have comp school visits, sports day, school play, summer fayre, leavers ceremony, residential trip and that's just the youngest! We also have quite a few other performances, as well as going to see hairspray in a few weeks (bought for dd1 birthday in feb) so busy few weeks..

Just been watching the incredibles as we try and have a film night weekly if poss and sewn on 4 swimming badges onto dd3 blankets, which have been meaning to do all week.

As I don't have a TD my school clothes washing is ironed but still wet on the radiators, as been raining all day.

    No money NP, have started creating a mental list of what im going to buy when MF. Its getting quite extensive, and currently includes;
-A New (but not new new - about 6 months -1 yr old car)
    -A new tarmac drive
    -Lounge furniture that matches
    -A fabulous holiday

On the neg, last night on way home exhaust started blowing and now sound like a tank so need to sort this week, sounds like near the engine which im sure is the expensive bit,
on the pos, pay day Thursday so have money in bank. £1500 OP ready and poised for the 1st. I can feel a sig update coming on... Also letter from NW, Morgage 3 is now on a reduced 3 year term (cost £20 to change) at £1036 a month, so will finish Aug 2016, will effect from August 1st. Thought Id focus and tackle the biggest.

Worked today doing all day interviewing for the trust for band 2's (nursing assistants) and 3 of those have ear marked for my own wards, so feeling work positive. Should know this week how many of the 4 new nurses I asked for I will get from student clearing, so fingers crossed, feeling positive though as had quite a few tell me they requested our ward on their interview. Have a new nurse starting on both wards this week. Have had to do 2 last minute extra long day clinical shifts this week due to staffing shortages so need a mental boost.

Had a little nap when i got home as now day 6 at work, off tomorrow then another 6 dayer next week. So no assignment done..

I know I keep on saying it, but your MOPs are incredible - in fact, from now on in there should be two MOP terms on this board TTs (tilly tidies) and HHs (humongous helens):D

    Anything under £1 = TT

    Anything over £100 = HH

    Et voila:T

Keep thinking need more of a EF but the lure of MOP's is too great. Also to be fair, my wages have been far better since Jan, with the extra shifts plus the overtime extras so keep thinking pay it while I can afford too and whilst they keep asking. Am literally on smart price everything and everso slightly OTT with frugal ways, my BF thinks Im may have tipped over the edge... OH is still ok with it though.

I don't mind shop own brand (usually prefer tbh), however do struggle with value range....although I do use value cleaning products...so only in the 'food' sense.

I have totally kicked the magazine habit which although must have saved a fair bit, I must have switched for something else though, as I can't see any noticeable difference to finances:cool:

Trying to be healthy eater at mo, which costs more although not drinking anywhere near as much wine so should equal itself out.
Magazines are definitely not a vice for me, as I never have the time or inclination. I never read a newspaper either. My vice is wine but I am trying hard to really limit (both for money and calories)
