Well done on the run Helen, I have got up to 8 miles but running not going well at the moment. A half is on my to do list, I was actively looking for one but have lost my mojo now!

You must be so close to mortgage freedom now. £1000 a month better off is huge!

Not saying I could the full marathon but if I don't do it in the next year or so, when would I?

Yes, can't wait for that drop in op's. Feels like dragging myself towards it, a little closer... first cheaper month will be holiday money..

Hiya Tilly. Sorry time sometimes just slips by. I don't know why but it just flies, working full time (and the rest) the girls and running..

Haven't run at all this week as chest wise felt short of breath and tight chested, very fluttery but had been feeling tired but less fluttery. Got up to a regular 10 mile. So mardy week, tonight passed on run for 3rd time this week (unheard of). Trying to decide chicken or egg, do I feel unwell because Im tired, or am I tired thus making myself unwell? Have been trying to create a dayoff a week but been so so busy this week.

Big night tonight... Huge night tonight... Prom night. So DD1 hair, make up, frock, bag, shoes, limo, ticket, photos, year book... flippin heck its expensive. but shes a good girl and so deserves it. She looked gorgeous, so proud.
Shes been doing NCS (on telly, the 4 week course including residential - rock climbing, raft building etc) as now left school. Cost £50 for the 4 week!! Including food! Can I send them all?

Anyway money front, have done SB most nights and my Amazon pot brimmeth over. Plus CC points means £50 in vouchers. Had to change as no longer doing points, to a £24 a year CC, however as I get well over £100 a year I have paid it. Also become a major grouponer. Day out with DD1 for nails then afternoon tea then another for a spa day has meant some lovely (and cheap) mum daughter time. With TCB being an added bonus.

This month also hit a new milestone. We own 95% of our house... Yippee.

Good to see you posting Helen. Prom night sounds fab, such a big moment.

It is frustrating when you want to get out for a run but don't feel like it. I know I don't have the cardiac issue but if I am struggling I just go out for a run with an open mind and no expectations of time/distance. Often, my legs make the decision for me and I run a good distance and feel much better for it.

A regular 10 mile run is amazing!!!

Owning 95% of your house is pretty spectacular too :j

I once read that if you really can't face going for a run put your stuff on and head out for 6 minutes. After that time if you still don't feel like it then head back and you will have done a mile but normally by then you have settled into it and want to carry on. I have tried it and it definitely works x

Unfortunately its not the not wanting to go. I will run tight chested but feel breathless walking when my heart is racing. Today I tried it and ran 30 mins in the gym and then felt really dizzy, do feel better than earlier in week.

Thank you. Mortgage number 2 will be done by the 1st of next month then just 1 left. The OP's being redirected to savings. Saving for a newer car....

Still bang on with weight, which is tbh just as hard as losing but worth it.

Is there definitely nothing anyone can do to help ease your discomfort? I hope things start to improve for you soon x

Well done on the mortgage by the way, I am a tad envious but seeing you and Tilly getting near the end is spurring me on slightly.

I used to think that 'the prom' was a lot of Americanised nonsense. Now I have a daughter :)
