It is a horrible irony that you are suffering with your health after revolutionising your lifestyle.

I hope you are feeling a bit better?

Agree, cathT, It is lovely going to the gym with dd 2.

Yes Al, I was talking to Dave about this, I suspect that if I had seen the cardiologists a year before, his first words would have been that I need to lose weight.
I do really struggle with "going steady" so today been for a slow 9 miler. We went shopping yesterday and we both had new running shoes, mine are gorgeous (want to stroke them) asic gel ones. So had to take them out... they were very nice. Dave's were the key reason to go as I suspected his hip issues were his gait, the lovely trainer man agreed and so hopefully should resolve this. My chest still tight but working through it and definitely loads better than last week.

Have been shopping again.... Had looked round furniture shops whilst out yesterday and Harvey's Toulouse range now has a cabinet that would fit in my telly spot (less than 90 cm width), have literally been looking for at least 3 years and currently have a second hand hifi unit there (not pretty) and have looked at this range before but nothing was small enough. Any way came home, looked at tcb but would be £59 delivery whereas store said could collect, so nothing in it, plus couldn't actually see the unit on the website. Sale on till Tuesday, so back today, ordered cabinet, nest of tables and coffee table, also do interest free credit which was a unforeseen bonus. Should come beginning of July. Very pleased as have had secondhand since we finished the house renovation..... oooo a taste of having spare cash.. can smell mf... keep looking at cars in a jealous way too... not long...

Sorry wandered off there. Thanks Ed, cathT and tilly. I actually ended up at the gym later due to swimming lessons and next day was an effort to walk.

Feel like getting there, frustrated that my pulse rate can stop my day but the rest I can work through. Did woolaton 10k today, absolutely soaked, but determined and done although seconds over 65 minutes which was disappointing but hey ho. Promised dd2 gym and felt exhausted but went and worth it as time together.

Feel like need to keep adding miles as would like to hit 13 mile at least a few times before the actual run. I would like to (see bucket list) do a marathon, maybe next year????

Money wise broke, hanging in as next pay day will be nearly the end of morgage 2 and so will be a £1000 a month better off....leaving the last one before mf.
