Thanks gang. HR 48 this morning, going to go for a walk with Dave this morning.
My appointment has come through for Feb, so at least I can try and get in earlier now I have a date.

Have booked and paid for derby one last month. I think robin hood opens for places in Jan.

Post festive weigh in is 9 st 9 which is within my 3 lb happy with parameters. As want to stay 3 +/- 9 1/2. Had to eat far more carefully last few days to stay at 1800 calories as usually I eat loads as eat back calories burned. Had several days as none calorie counting but still sensible...

Good that your cardiology appointment is through, take good care of yourself.

  • Thanks cathT, will ring on Monday and see if I can get in earlier.
Just back from walk and was shockingly bad, managed a mile and had to sit down as felt so light headed. Was slow walk home, at least that's made running a definite no, so now I just need to stop sulking.

Big internal debate, to work or not to work. Have decided to go in civvies, so no way can become clinical, tie up as many loose ends as I can and see how I feel from there. Walked to Dave's mum's today, which is about 1/2 mile and still felt rough. The walk from the car park to the ward might be the decision maker.

Make sure you send yourself home if you are not up to it. Take it easy Helen, listen to your body.

  • Hi HDK, sorry to read about your health scare. Sounds like some time out getting well wouldn't be such a bad thing. I know you've said you 'don't do sick' but if your body is screaming out a warning, stop and listen.

Very best wishes Tilly x x

As thought, the car park walk was turning point. Although walking back felt worse. Have sorted out all my calender and must do jobs, assigned deputies and pa all my chores and was home before 12. Feel quite tearful as feels like it's got the better of me.
Have managed to get my cardiology appointment changed to Friday and just need to nip and fetch sick note from gps which just needs collecting.

I know it's hard but don't be down, at least you have your appointment soon and can figure out what's happening. Time to let people take care of you for a change.

    Yup, your turn.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
