I will tell Shiny shoes!!!
Was definitely very hard, really struggled, comparing myself to colleague's, I definitely needed to put in more effort for lower results (so yes, I am definitely not "bright") and I am never putting myself through this again (but don't need to, I hope).
You do know that the 'daft as a brush' comment was a term of endearment?? You achieving a Masters most certainly does not down value what is a difficult course of study (working more hours than most and juggling family life to boot!) My colleague has been going through her Masters and is struggling with the intensity (and she already talks like a professor as it is!!!)
Very, very proud of you H:kisses3:February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Cheers NP, I am shocked though. Feels like being doing it forever. Never thought would see the end.
Had "big visit" today, haven't had official feedback, some minors (I thought in the great scheme of things) picked up on but the lady in charge shook my hand and said I had a "well organised well run ward" so fingers crossed the report reflects. Was open and honest about ward faults and how I was addressing.
Had an hour long chat with colleague earlier in the day, was very open and honest then too..... , we both aired our grievances in a constructive (after the first 30 minutes where it was very clear we both still spitting chips), made it clear I was furious and Im hoping we can move forward as we will need to work together over next 4 months.
DD2 13 today, been out for a birthday tea and now we are about to have a movie night. Shes very pleased with presents, read "ecstatic". All grandparents now gone too.
Absolutely exhausted, feel every cupboard had an extra clean this morning and been mentally really edgy awaiting visit all day, as was clear first thing that we would be visited. Even the staff were amused just how twitchy I was, the ward got visited last year and it was commented that my activity was identical, as well as my mental state to the previous managers. The reports generally reflect how good the manager is, so can't wait to see if we "survived" it.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

New signature in celebration and is now under 50k and thus half way there. Fairly major milestone.
Did normal day plus twilight thursday, so not home till 10.30pm and really had to scrape myself out of bed this morning as also day 6 of run. fortunately now weekend off plus tues /thur as annual leave next week and then three annual leaves the week after. Can't wait as feel like starting to run on empty.
Still have lots of Christmas shopping etc to do. Will try and conquer next week.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Thanks Tilly. Must say this was the milestone I was most excited to reach. Feels like really now on the down hill slope to MF.
In my head my next major is 30k which represents the mortgage we had on our first ever property.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Cheers NP, have no food in house and have had to cancel Christmas though...
I've had to reduce OP's a bit as making us a little too short of cash. Seem to be starting each month in slightly worse position but not through overspend but have a clear figure need to hit my target (I tend to over focus, you may have noticed..)
I was thinking the other night, theoretically I have been quite a bit short last few months as Ive been having £289 stopped each month and will continue to march due to the wages error earlier in the year. So no longer getting extra but actually money taken, so really I will be worse off, bit of a Doh moment as I was struggling to work out why it felt so tight.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... Thanks Alchemilla.
Very productive day. Have been and done a very carefully listed Christmas shop, the amounts left to spend on a sheet and a pen. I now just have my dad to finish, plus a main present for dd2 and 3, but have ideas and its mostly online.
Think will parcel up this little haul as this afternoons job.
Haven't touched Christmas cards yet but have a stash from last years sales. Just can't bear it...Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Wrapped, no room on wardrobe so crammed under bed.
Toying with treating self to contract phone for Christmas (from Dave) as mines years old and its PAYG and seem to be constantly topping up, am sure that's means need to sort. I am not interested in names (unlike my darling daughters) and was looking at the Huawei smart phones at around £7 a month. (car phone warehouse)
Still not tackled cards though.
Done 3 loads of washing, so close call whether I'll be ironing or writing cards tonight.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!
