5 years MFW - Lets get cracking...

Ended up doing late shift yesterday, was really looking forward to zumba so a bit fed up. Quickly followed by guilt as got rang at 10 as short again today but its my annual leave few days and dd1 performing at concert hall so absolutely no way could do the late shift today.

dd1 fab performance - very proud. Very MSE, free tickets for dd1 and 2 due to attending music school on saturdays, seats in gods so cheaper and parked in side street and so only 1 hour for meter as free after 8pm. Took own sweeties and drinks. Treated my parents as well and still spent under £30 all in.

Just home, day off tomoz (annual leave), so hopefully lie in, hair booked and then staff christmas do at night. Have thursday off too... Best mate driving as bless her, feeling unwell with nasty cold, and not too bothered if home early as don't go out much.. (im an antisocial extrovert)

Asda today and bought the last bits for my parents, so bar the dvd's on my wish list for Dave and dd3 (waiting for AGC) thats me done. wrapped quickly and under tree.

Up just in time for HUTH, well almost. I could get used to this.

My hair is now grey free and had relaxing lazy day. Just a few chores. Still feels odd not having to churn an assignment out.

No, I'm still undecided. If honest I have switched off that side of my thinking, in the if I ignore I won't have to make a decision as it will self sort, I appreciate this technique won't actually work.

Went to Christmas do, hate going out but was ok once there and boogied the night away and enjoyed. Half the hospital was there as it was 999 night and so reduced tickets (was still £35) and was great to see lots of people haven't seen in years.

I'm de-lurking. The graduation ceremony IS important - for you, your other half, your children...... You worked incredible hard for this academic achievement. It deserves to be acknowledged. You deserve to be acknowledged. Your day - sharing with those who matter.

My daughter wasn't going to graduate but is so glad now she did. So am I! A wonderful day. This was her second graduation.

Please think about it.

Thanks Toerag, I think I ramble on about everything but MFW but every now and again throw in a mFw comment.. I do find this forum re-invigorates me and I read others and think how did I miss that, my biggest was TCB, can't believe how much free money I have made, yet only discovered it whilst on here.

Someone at work, different course but again masters who we have been bantering each other along for months to survive the assignments, said today she's booked hers and told me off for my lack of enthusiasm. very similar to finishing renovating the house, I have just suddenly lost all my energy and don't seem to be able to motivate myself. I do need to make a decision rather than float about. Have had 3 days off this week and have literally done nothing, which isn't my usual self.

Have been "told off" by bf and DH this week, for saying "no, can't afford to do..." and being told that I am being ridiculous. Which is true and i do become over focused.

Done my chores a day early as no music run today as they've broke up for Christmas. Have cleaned my car as well, and Im not selling it.

Quick look at website, and the local -ish graduation is Birmingham and its not until June, so I can forget about it again. Read the bumph and torn between peoples comments and really really not wanting to go. In fact my stomach has gone funny just thinking about it.

DD2 produced a screwed up letter last night, only 2 weeks late, a permission slip (due in last week) for the school concert (to play the piano) which is fine but they want them to stay after school and leave after the performance, unfortunately missed music lessons last week (dd1 concert hall) and its there last lesson before the music teachers Christmas concert and he was already twitched beyond all reason when we couldn't go last week, think it will be a dashing Tuesday.

Got a text to say they finish at 1pm on Friday, which they do with increasing frequency, I assume they can register the pm if they leave at 1 rather than after the last lesson of the morning. I'm not even going to say anything about the rules about taking kids out for holidays and all that blah blah but lets just say I'm not impressed and leave it at that.

Ordered a few more DVD's from amazon as got some more swagbuck cleared.
A few more amazon packages arrived today, dd2 a hunger games bracelet (cost a couple of quid) and an iphone case, plus some digital suitcase scales (my dad)

Managed a wee review of DY, haven't done 1 for a few weeks.
