It's fine HDK, don't listen to GG - look at the time she is awake at! It's clearly past her bedtime and she doesn't know what she's saying ;)
  • Thanks Calfuray. Jeez GG what time? was you going on holiday???

To be fair, I definitely did listen, as if I hadn't I would have been currently sitting in a swamp...

Im tired just thinking about that. Have had my PJ's on since we got home at 8, after swimming (girls not me, I was at aerobics)

Had a nice day, facilitating training with the staff, taking a quarter of the staff each week for next 4 weeks for 1 day each. Went well today, mostly its just ensuring my speakers turn up and everyone knows what is happening when. Good way to tick off a big number of statutory required training in a job lot.
    Next date is Monday.

  • Have all weekend off and hopefully should stay that way..

Confession time.. Despite promising several people otherwise (husband, BF, parents, ex JS), I am struggling to sleep, work is taking over again. I have so many ideas that I need to get up and write down, I have so many things to puzzle through. This is not good but unsure how to empty my brain bar anesthetise it with alcohol which I realise is not the best coping strategy. Will definitely get a lot worse as my vacancies due to increase dramatically next few weeks. Am trying to be proactive, met with my bosses boss last week, utilising admin staff to do more of my jobs so I can be more clinical, adverts out back to back...

On the positive side, financially better off, as my job is substantive and full time now.

Am still very unprepared for dd2 birthday and Christmas. Yikes.

  • yeah I'm in full agreement....I write everything down and it does help....I'm also guilty of feeling very overwhelmed by responsibility sometimes xx

  • Think that sounds like a good idea, was up at 7 this morning, downstairs scribbling. I often wonder what staff think, as my sentences often start with "whilst i was in bed last night I was thinking we could do....." perhaps "saddo!!"

  • Well still waiting to hear if a big decision about staffing will be made, really hoping it goes the right way and then I may start sleeping at night!
