I wouldn't go for brown curtains, I'd go for something bright and pick up the colours of the cushions.

GG has excellent taste if MWC isn't checking MsE whilst away.
I'm completely useless at colours and styling.

Well H, they are nice and bright and have sage green in them, and you could pick up the aubergine, coffee and lilac for cushions. I'd still be inclined to wait though.
