That's great NewLeaf, I've been touting around for some competition, but nobody seems to be rising to Custardy's challenge.

The beauty of the challenge is that you can re-arrange it completely to suit yourself.

I do that anyway with everything lol, whether i'm supposed to or not, on the principle that if I don't like it, or it's not good for me i'll not stick at it.

For example, I have knees that I have to be gentle with, so I do my pushups with my knees on cushions.

I also don't like to put too much strain on my back - disc problems in the past .... so I substitute the dorsal exercises with Plank and a dorsal stretch at the end.

Another 200 this morning - only 8800 to go. How's life on the other side of the pond xxx.

It's lovely to see you Granny x. I adore your humour, so please feel free to post anything you want xxxxx.

    Day 22 of the 12 week challenge and 86/365 - 23.6%.

I've done my reps while catching up with the news, had my porridge, vitamins, hot lemon and honey drink and now i'm on MSE. I'm enjoying my new routine so I think it has a chance of sticking :).

My budget for this week is working, with one day to go. I still have £1.00 left in the weekly food pot and £16.50 left in the entertainment budget for DS and I. It would have been £20.00 if I hadn't succumbed to a detour into Macdonald's between Weightwatcher's and the gym .

:naughty: I must knock that on the head before it becomes a new bad habit .

On a make-do and mend note, I found my favourite navy trousers at the back of the cupboard, where they had been abandoned ,in disgust, in the summer. Once I'd sewn back the buttons that had popped off and repaired the gaping hole in the bum seam, they fitted perfectly ....... result!!

    TTFN xx.

oh dear this made me laugh, I'm pretty sure we've all been there mind you. One of my DDs rules is never start a diet on a Monday as you give yourself the excuse to eat like a p!g all weekend before.

Well done on the trousers, although that raised a smile too. I would have thrown them in the bin when I ripped the seam.:rotfl:

    Day 23 of the 12 week challenge and 87/365 - 23.8%.

Morning Granny and Newleaf. I got the graphic from the Facebook page. I just copied and pasted it on to here.

    https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152106976545611&set=o.390906887642235&type=3&theater

That's excellent advice from your daughter Granny, in fact that is the reason I have my weigh in on a Monday, to stop me going crazy at the weekend, which is my weakest time.

    Confession time now ...

I had a great night yesterday. I fancied a chat and DH was engrossed in the football, again, what's going on there? I decided to use the last of my entertainment budget on a bottle of Vintage Cava that I've had my eye on in Morrison's. It was reduced from £12.99 to £5.99.

I toddled along to my friend, whose door is always open to anyone brandishing a decent bottle of wine and we had a very enjoyable evening. I had just one medium glass of Cava, but DF polished off my bottle and then another whole bottle of Pinot Grigio. By 10.30 pm she was literally legless and her DH and I dragged all 16 stone of her to bed, then I scurried off.

I collapsed into my bed and I had the most amazing technicoloured, lucid dream.

I was in a Las Vegas hotel enjoying a wild night with George Clooney, as we were relaxing I asked him to autograph me, before he went, as nobody would ever believe that we had shared this time together.

Just as he was signing me I woke up, examined myself and all I had on me was a smile. The dream was so real!!!!!

    I had two thoughts.

    1. This free entertainment never gets mentioned on MSE.
    2. Freud would have a field day with me.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

After all that I still finished this budget week with £0.51 in my entertainment pot and £0.20 in the food budget.

DS has all of his £10.00 left :T.
