Seeing my boyfriend

It's a bit inappropriate her turning up and talking work out of work hours anything she needs to talk about that is work related should be in work hours.
I would be annoyed too, it's nothing to do with her what your partner does out of work time.

I know. She even asked if I thought what I was wearing was appropiate as its not suitable to wear around management!!0

Perhaps you need to make it perfectly clear to her that he's your boyfriend and has been for over a year.Cardiff_Girl wrote: »I know. She even asked if I thought what I was wearing was appropiate as its not suitable to wear around management!!.................

Presuming your employers do not have a policy against relationships in the company i am pretty sure this oversteps official boundaries already.
What was she doing in the hotel in any case?0 -

Company don't mind relationships nor do they have a policy. Infact HR talked about couples getting together and getting married meeting through work.lostinrates wrote: »Presuming your employers do not have a policy against relationships in the company i am pretty sure this oversteps official boundaries already.

Uh? Since when does it matter what you wear around your boyfriend when you are not at work? She sounds like a right fruit loop to me. You've been together 14 months. It's not like a) your teenagers b) there's a big age gap or c) anythings going on at work.
I can understand her being shocked if she had just turned up to talk about work but clearly she hadn't. She is obviously jealous/threatened by you.
Just keep doing what you are doing. See your boyfriend after hours, don't mention it during work time etc. Hopefully it will blow over soon.

One wonders how she's going to explain turning up at his hotel at 8/9pm at night (presumably just in case he is there). How weird is that. He could have been out for dinner or visiting friends or anything. People don't normally go and drop in at their colleagues hotel at that sort of time just in case they are there, to talk about work (well not as far as I know anyway).
