There's a Wetherspoon just round the corner from Holiday Inn and they do lovely a good range of breakfast options, good prices too, with 99p Lavazza (sp?) coffee! don't bother eating at the hotel if its not included in the room rate :-) just cross Westgate street and walk towards the train station, its call the Gate Keeper :-)

they do an okay breakfast, but its still £4 a day for breakfast and eating breakfast out every day is a bit boring.

why not hotel for a week, then your house for a week? he gets some home cooked meals.

    How do you mean?

I hope we are in the Holiday inn. Lots more staff there and I can feel more relaxed, he was in one hotel with 8 staff members and they all looked at me.
Did you ask them if there was some kind of issue?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

haha I wouldn't get no sick pay :(

A little tip...dont tell people at work too much of your private business.

On one level they are work colleagues, on another they are friends but at a baser level ,they are competitors.

I only mentioned the wetherspoon breakfast as an alternative to the one in the hotel, not saying they should eat a fry up every morning :rotfl: besides, if they are both going to work in the morning, a box of cereal/museli and some milk stashed in the fridge sounds like a more practical option for most days?

Odds are you won't spend all your time at the hotel anyway -nights out, the odd evening night at yours , doing stuff at the weekend. Just relax........and if anyone at work asks just smile at them and say NOTHING ! It'll drive em nuts ;)

Not meaning to sound nasty, but I can't remember if you have mentioned how old you are?
