My consultant is pretty good at raffle prizes.
We've had measuring spoons & jugs, a blender, soup ingredients, ice lolly makers etc.
    I never win though :(

That sounds good. Our raffle is 50p a strip and it's usually some food items which don't have much wow factor. A previous SW group I went to she put effort into it ... I once won a SW recipe book with a nice bookmark on the page with a lovely soup recipe and then ALL the ingredients to make the soup.

I have won our fruit (once I think) and that week it was quite nice but it does vary - some weeks it looks very unappetising.

Feeling a bit tipsy..had a couple of glasses of wine. have gone over syns but marginally. I only had the hot chocolate & the marg on my toast this morning.
Ended up having mashed potato (made with black pepper & a squige of skimmed milk), peas & chicken breast cooked in a slice of ham (cooked in tin foil) .. not having any more wine. I think i have had around 17 syns today which isnt too bad.
Got zumba in the morning, and no plans for anymore alcohol tomorrow or sunday :)
The extra 2 syns will be ok wont they??

2 syns extra is no problem, easily clawed back. I'm speaking as someone who always stored their syns up across the week: I have almost all my syns (about 80) at weekend and the rest just if I need them for gravy and sauces in the week. It's not recommended but it worked for me.

  • Hmm that's kind of what I think too re food but don't want to make myself ill! It is in an airtight container so I guess it'll be ok.

If you do get proper food poisoning you will probably also get SOTW. I had a client with genuine salmonella poisoning and she lost 3 stone in 3 weeks. Not sure if the hospital food helped the loss though.
I wouldnt take the risk if I were you.
Who I am is not important. What I do is.
  • Hola! My mums doing slimming world so I like to keep a look on the forum on here for ideas for new recipes etc but I'd like to do a tapas night! Have looked on the internet but not getting very far so was wondering if anyone here has any good tapas Spanish inspired recipes?

In one of the magazines a few months ago they had a spanish section so was thinking of doing Patatas bravas and meatballs with different dips from that magazine but after that I'm a bit stuck. I'd like a chicken dish and maybe a garlic prawn type dish.

    Can anyone help?! Thanks!
