Afternoon all. Late posting as had sons reintergration meeting in school today which has proved quite positive. They want to now sit down with someone from slimming world and find out how it works for kids and see if it is something they can bring on board in school with encouragement from parents and teachers alike after seeing the positive improvements my son has made. So sent a quick message to consultant through facebook to see if she would contact the school before the idea gets swept under the carpet. My son is also going to be used for a media campaign for fundraising as he started a bet with a teacher last year that he would not grow his hair to the end of year 11 without having it all cut off, so son upholding his end of the bet is now sporting long curly locks and has arranged with a local barber to get it cut in a charity event around may/june 2013 to support cancer research. :T
Further to the SOW conversation, our group only do the basket awarded to the biggest loser who stays to group with items donated by group members. Every couple of weeks theres a raffle to win prizes (costs 50p a strip of 5) that the consultant has given thought to like when i first joined it was lolly moulds and ingredients to make the ice lollies from one of the mags, after that it seemed to be stuck in a rut to win click lock tupperware as people were making excuses about not having containers to take lunches to work so they were having to eat out and guestimate syns in prepacked lunches etc. We have never had a SOM award though. May raise that this week to see whats said.
Todays meals are :
B, fry up with HEB.
L, not overly hungry so picked at strawberries and banana.
T, Beef kofta curry and rice. Pineapple.
Syns, whittards tea (4) quick slurp of daughters maccies milkshake when she left work :rotfl:she pinched it back off me when she realised.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

If slimmer of the week doesn't stay then the fruit gets raffled off, the raffle is normally pretty good, measuring things, different peelers, food to make a certain recipe. I won a couple of weeks ago and it was 2 bottles of different fry lite which is fab because we use it all the time.
The group I go to is only small but it is a really good groupSlimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -
Hi all! Seeking some help and tips, off to Center Parcs in a few weeks for a weekend, planning on eating in to save money but what meals are easy to make to serve 6? Planning on little fry ups for a morning, sandwiches for lunch but I need 3 meal ideas for supper. Was thinking of baked bean lasagne, wanted to do something with rice but can't think of anything atm!0

I would go for chile or something, or because my oh is a fussy one it would have to be spag bol - same basics just leave out the chile powder and do pasta rather than rice.
Other things I'd think about would be a quick, basic curry, lasagne, hash bits like that************************************

Hi all just a couple of random questions:
the samosas i made on weds have been left out by accident, do you think they would be ok if i put them in the oven again?
made beef casserole on tues and some is still in the fridge, do you think it would be ok to eat tomorrow? Or just chuck it?
Somehow ended up with tons of potatos so going to have SW chips tonight, probably with egg and beans. Just can't decide on a superfree to have.... any ideas? I've got carrots and cauliflower in the fridge but neither sound appealing with chips and beans!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Nowadays he will leave soup in a pan on the stove and just keep reheating it till its all gone or the fur coat sets in - he hasnt been ill yet.

Hmm that's kind of what I think too re food but don't want to make myself ill! It is in an airtight container so I guess it'll be ok.

I agree with stef, especially as there's no meat in the samosas and the casserole has been in the fridge. What else have you eaten today psycho? If you haven't had much meat then it could become a Green day and you would be OK with just your beans.
emmarox, to fill you all up I'd cook extra potatoes so you can have them fried with your cooked breakfasts to fill you up. Sainsbury's have some excellent sausages at only half a syn each. That leaves your bread for the sandwich lunches.0 -

Good idea, I forget about green days. I've just eaten fruit for breakfasts, ham philly cucumber wholemeal sandwichs and a pasta snack pot thing.Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16
