RFD hugs, I know how a year of crud can feel but there is always light at the end of it
Well I never got around to my satsuma this morning so so far I've had my 1/2 tin of spaghetti, 2 apples and banana and some prawn cocktail wrapped in lettuce leaves - total 5.5syns.
I've made a pan of soup (only two servings mind) and once blended will count 1.5syns per portion for the butter used to sweat the leeks and onions in.
The whole plan of sticking to 5syns or less until Thursday had backfired although I am still under 10 each day. Hoping that that and being sensible on Thursday will see me still lose at least 2lb this week (not on par of my last couple of losses but I'm ok with that). I've also done less exercise this week as I've been a bit ill so we will see how weigh in goes tomorrow!************************************

I know a lot of people love it but when I tried it I wasn't overly impressed, the fruit and veg seemed to go off very quickly and it's not like it lasts long in my house anyway! I prefer Lidl if you have one near? Their salmon is lovely and their fruit and veg lasts a long time and it's really yummy.Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -

Someone also wrote in some thread in MSE that the wholesale meat supplier they work for supplies M & S & also Lidl so definately worth a try!
Hi All
I am back, pre-med was not anywhere near as bad as I had expected. Procedure didn't go great, I woke three times screaming in agony holding onto the bed guard, was told to take deep breath & breathe out slowly each time as they were nearly there. Long & short, everything is normal, back to consultant for next step, I am still convinced its a gynae problem.
Anyhow, was away all weekend at Alton Towers, back late on yesterday, back on plan today, so I don't think I will have lost anything come weigh in tomorrow, but from here on in 100% so I can get into my birthday dress easily.

For some reason i cant find any of the wholemeal WW bread in the shops. It always seems to be the danish variety or white.
I meant just normal wholemeal (Allinsons or similar) in the small loaf.rainbowfairydust wrote: »also just wondering if anyone does there food shopping in aldi? Trying to cut my food budget and wondered if anyone shops here and how they find it?
I use Aldi and Lidl and we're lucky that the f&v in both is pretty good. Maybe high turnover? I write my list, buy everything I can in Aldi or Lidl and then finish off a few bits in Sainsbury's or Asda (although I'm going there less and less lately).
I'm not sure how big your workplace is but perhaps if a group of you approached bosses with issues about bills not being paid on time then they'd listen. :Tto your mum for helping out.0 -
My shopping did not arrive until 4ish so I have not started properly yet although I ate sensibly today and I have just prepared SW Tikka Masala which is currently marinading in the fridge. Planning on starting fully tomorrow.
I think I have got my head round things now. It will be a major lifestyle shift for me but I am feeling hopeful and looking forward to trying new recipes instead of the same old carbs smothered in cheeseTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Had my first weigh in last night and lost 4lbs! Really pleased, only 1 stone 10lbs to go! Hope everyone's having a good start tot the week0

Those of you looking for a delish, quick and easy comfort food try a Cowboy Pie. (No boots)
SW friendly sausages, precooked with chopped onions. Slice sausages and place in a pie dish, ( I used 4) Add 1 tin of beans.
Cover with mash - cook.
I used smash, (syn free i believe if made with water) with some Elmlea in.
I also added a good slop of Worcester Sauce, paprika, and two table spoons of bbq sauce to the beans.
Just wanted to say thanks for this, tried this tonight...fab idea. Changed it a little bit and used the Heinz 5 Beanz and grated some cheese on the top for my HeA. It was lush!Slimming World Target Achieved 13/09/12!0 -

Well funny you should say that.. I've just made some cheese and onion potato scones. OMG are they lush.. especially straight out the oven. ( Next time they are getting lathered in cheese ) Better yet... SYN FREE perfect for breaky, or a snack...
110g of Smash
250 (tub of) FF cottage cheese
3 eggs.
Onion diced,
Chives.
Salt and pepper to taste
Makes about 8 palm of the hand sized scones.
Fry the onions off in fry light. Mix eggs with Cottage Cheese n chives - then add onions. Add to the smash.. mix like mad. Shape and place on baking tray ( lined as they stick) cook at 180 for 30 minutes.
- Avoid lathering in butter when hot out the oven at all costsspongebabs wrote: »Had my first weigh in last night and lost 4lbs! Really pleased, only 1 stone 10lbs to go! Hope everyone's having a good start tot the week
