Rant away, that's what we are here for
.
Couldn't agree more rfd, I don't blame you after the horrible time you've been having. I noticed you having the WW Danish. I used to eat that when it was 3 slices for a HEB. Now it's changed to 2 slices I've gone to ordinary wholemeal. I found the WW had no substance unless I toasted it.
kjmt, I'm a great believer n everything catching up with you whether good or bad so maybe you'll have a good loss next week. If it helps, keep posting your menus on here and maybe we'll notice something.
Glad you enjoyed the wedding Blod and belated birthday wishes.
Are you OK with that Beanie? I don't think there's a 'tongue in cheek' smiley but I have put on my best consultant voice.:rotfl:I put on 5.5lbs last week, all explained by stuffing my face. I've been better this week but still had a couple of flexi meals but we'll see the outcome on Thursday.
I won't post menu today as I'm out for lunch at a good restaurant so going flexi. I have decided not to have wine as it'll make me sleepy this afternoon, so there's a few syns saved.0 -
Im ok with it as I too have stuffed my face all week.
finding it hard to get back on track though.
Slightly amazed in a way how easy it is to go back to old ways so quickly IYSWIM though.
Need to get back to planning & being better organised.
Also stop buying multipacks thinking I am saving money IYSWIM?

RFD - I can not but admire your determination to haul this year into some kind of submission. While it's continually kicking you. Re your wages problem have words with the bank they will help. I am not sure about this you might need to ask CAB or something but you might be able to claim from your employer for all the charges your getting because of their mess up.
In all your chaos find some time for you, hide from the hassle and chill. I hope you come out of it all soon.
CH27 - glad you can ""FEEL THE POWER OF THE GROUP"" (so to speak - said in the very best consultanty type voice one can muster)
Beanie... So easy to slip off the wagon, and then put getting back on off and off and off.. your strong..sparkly lines and other such twaddle under it and off you go :rotfl:
Also stop buying multipacks thinking I am saving money IYSWIM?
I find the Multipacks are at times more expensive anyways  especially the ones at the end of an isle.
Maman - enjoy your meal.. every lush morsel!
Blodwen hope you have gotten your way through the emails without too much stress WB glad you have enjoyed yourself.
MedMum as always your bright and breezy way of life makes me smile. :grouphug:
KandFsmam - its a real fight isn't it 1/2lb at a time.:o
I did my gym induction this morning.. nothing more than alot of form filling. Won't get my hopes up with regard to the scales... I wonder if SW add pounds while you're not looking:D0 -
Been a bit awol
been super busy. Put on 2.5lbs this week, but had a massive blow out for my birthday, out for food 3 days in a row and far too many cocktails so I'm not too disheartened. I don't see my family and friends often as I live so far away so didn't want to regret not enjoying myself. Back on plan as of yesterday and feeling positive
Today - Red Day
B - Weetabix w/ skimmed milk (B&A) Berries and Melon
L - Carrot & Coriander Soup and 2 slices of nimble (B)
D - Spicy Beef Casserole with loads of Root Veg (3 syns for gravy)
Anyone else just want to comfort eat, stews and soups now it's getting chilly and wintery? The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

For some reason i cant find any of the wholemeal WW bread in the shops. It always seems to be the danish variety or white.
I have to admit i am not a fan of WW bread. Its paper thin and not that tasty but have to make do. :undecided

Tomorrow is the Day of Atonement - maybe if I atone hard enough for all the overeating I've done this year I'll miraculously start losing weight because so far this year whatever efforts I've made have failed miserably!Blimey rainbow that's not good.

Thanks SH. I have already spoken to the CAB who advise there is not a great deal i can do as i am in a contract with them and they are still paying me, just not on the specified day. I have been told that work are liable for any late charges/bank fees though & i will be handing over a statement at some point.
I have been wailing on the phone to my poor mum this morning, and she has very kindly loaned me enough to pay my rent & enough to pay for a bit of food until my wage gets paid so at least its a little off my mind.
In case anyone wonders how i know so much my role is accounts so i am privy to the financial goings on/bank accounts etc. I knew this was coming however i expected a few days rather than the week or longer it now may be.. I also expected (and hoped) they would have some kind of back up plan because they have just left 20 people in the crud.
Despite all the happenings/crying/rage of this morning i am still on plan and have no desire to go & eat several bars of chocolate which i am taking as a good thing.

Im an Aldi girl these days.
I find them ok.
Fruit & veg are reasonable as is their meat & cold meat.Milk and bread are cheaper.
