i just dont want to load my plate with sausages and crisps.
Why not have some low syn sausages specially for you? If you had the Sainsbury ones you could eat 8 large sausages for just four syns!:DI'm at target :j :T
Many Congratulations. That's fantastic!! Enjoy the new, slim, healthy you!MentalMinnie wrote: »If something comes up as free does that mean you can have as much of it as you want?
I'm still finding some aspects hard to get my head round. x
It's hard to take it all on board but just keep asking! You can have as much free food as you like BUT... If you're doing Extra Easy you must have a third of your day's food as SF fruit and veg. So if yo keep upping the free food then you need to up the SF as well. This doesn't apply to the Green plan although on all plans lots of SF is good for you.
Shame about your gain Blodwen. If it's all to do with 'circumstances outside your control' then a big loss should catch up with you next week. Hope your meeting went well.0 -
I've just come back from doctors after a blood test result.
It seems that losing weight too quickly can be bad for you. They poo poo this at slimming world, WW and others too.
I have often commented to my consultant and she has refuted it with "if you are happy then you have nothing worry about."
This is NOT true.
I know a lot of people follow this thread and don't post, I know they are trying for a baby. I've lost 6.4 stone in 9 months and my body has gone into shock. Its messed with my hormones and as a result there will be no more babies here.

I'm at target :j :T I decided that I am happy where I am, although I originally said that I wanted to lose 4 stone I didn't realise that I would be a size 10-12 at the weight I am. I have a healthy bmi as well which is good, so this is my first week at target which will be interesting, my consultant said to try having an extra a and b this week to see how I get on.
Have a good day everyone
Congratulations ************************************

SW isn't unsafe, it's probably one of the safest. And I'd recomend it to anyone.
However, slow and steady is the way. I constantly lost. Week on week never gained unless "on target" and doc thinks its the SPEED at which I lost and amount over such a short period (competative person that I am) that is what I must raise caution about.
Don't look at others great losses and wish it was you..your body knows what its doing.:D0 -
Back from the gym where I naughtily weighed myself and their scales put me at 11st3.2lb which would be a gain but my gym clothes are much heavier so praying hard for a STS by expecting a small gain
But will have to see how I get on when I get on the consultants scales. Will be changing my target to 10st10 and wanted to be there for Christmas week (even when it was lower) so I may have to pull out all the stops next week- lots of added walking, tons of SFs and low syn treats to get myself as close as possible for Christmas. Feel low now as my head says 5.5+lbs in a week is just not possible even though I've hovered around 3lb losses for a few weeks now and have done more than that before.
Other than upping SFs anyone else got any tips/tricks they use?************************************

Have you tried speed soup? The week I had that for lunch every day I had a 5lb loss! I also had it a few times when my weight loss stopped and it seemed to kickstart it again with a 3lb loss, might be coincidence but worth a try.
