Hi there - since rejoinging last Thursday I got myself in the zone for a proper start on Monday morning & have remained in the zone since then (long may it last too) my only problem is I'm struggling to use my heB's last night I had a slice of toast after dinner just so I'd had one through the day - add to this that I'm breast feeding & should be having extra A+B's - I know this probably sounds sickening not being able to use them & I'm sure once I don't have the extras I'll miss them.... I think my problem stems from not liking to use them too early in the day so I have them to fall back on & then being too full to use them - I will be buying some hifi bars this week - any other ideas ???0

I think alpen bars are healthy extras too, not sure, someone might confirm before i can check. If you are breastfeeding I would suggest using the bars as you refuel snacks, especially in the early hour wake ups. Less likely to raid the biscuit barrel then. Or weetabix crumbled into yohgurt quick and easy to do with baby in tow
When/if you start planning your meals out by the day you'll find it easier still to use them, to keep down the syn count of a meal or homemade cake0 -
I've just realised that as I'm in Manchester for training tomorrow lunch is being provided and that means sandwiches or sandwiches...I will take some fruit with me but i guess I will have to use my HeB for bread and syn the fillings. Really annoying as I was hoping to use my HeB to have some breakfast before I go.
Will have to use fruit for brekkie, will try and call at a store and pick up some extra bits to go with my satsumas. Bah.************************************

Depending how much time you've got in the morning lush, you could cook some potatoes today and have them sliced and fried with an egg for breakfast. If you had beans as well it might help you cut back on lunch syns. Sometimes fruit is offered at these buffets but taking your own is a good idea.
bjb, you could use some oil when you're cooking in the evening or munch on some dried fruit or have you any tinned fruit to use up?0 -

Yeah I took fruit to the last session I went to and was glad I did because it was literally little sandwich triangles and ready salted crisps! I'm not much of a pre-prepared sandwich eater so I had one triangle then pulled out a huge tub of melon and grapes. Was toying with the idea of maybe taking some savoury rice and veggies and eating it on my first train home but don't want to feel rude turning lunch down!
Oddly looking forward to WI tonight but praying I don't see a maintain or gain for my happiness - I shouldn't, I've had a fairly decent week...we will see i guess.
Also can't wait for tot to go home today - he kicked me in the face and made my lip bleed earlier and he's pulled out some of my hair! Ahh I shouldn't complain he's getting picked up in 3 hours************************************

I'm hoping for a loss tonight as I have been very careful.
Had a day out shopping yesterday and we had lunch out. I chose an omelette with grilled bacon (I asked!) and mushroom filling and a side salad.
Oatbran for breakfast with a banana and homemade SW veggie soup for lunch.0 -
