Thank you Lush, Beanie.
Welcome to the newbies!
Krissy, i think we have all hit the constipation/extremely uncomfortable wall within the SW eating plan. Those syns have also been built into it so you never have to feel deprived and that no food/drink is banned but more an awareness of something in moderation does you no harm.
I too am a slow loser my biggest loss to date has been 2.5lb in one week i usually even off around the 1lb mark. But slow and steady means im getting some wear out of my new clothes and not thinking they were a waste of money when i whizz back down the sizes. Its mad to think 6 weeks ago i purchased my first size 16 jeans in a good while and now im having to wear a belt to keep them on! Looks like at this steady rate i can justify a splurge in the Jan sales :rotfl:
Keep chipping away and dont get disheartened.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Ok my chicken and sweetcorn soup was immense! Definitely going to make that regularly...and I got 4 portions out of it so one for just now and three for the freezer
so simple but such a pleasure.
Just following it up with some of my lime jelly i made earlier then I will occupy myself with some ironing before I look for decorating tips - I have to paint the bedroom at some point this week and bf has got me pads rather than rollers or brushes to do it with - I didn't even know they existed:)... I don't remember ever having enjoyed jelly so much - nom nom
Hoping everyone is having good evenings so far************************************

They've changed a load of the boards, I've just spent ages going round in circles trying to find you all :rotfl:
So I gained 1/2lb today and after having 2 weeks of staying the same I have decided enough is enough, I am back on plan and I have been 100% today. Determined to lose 2 lbs this week although I tried talking to consultant number 3 about my target and she wasn't very helpful. I thought I had decided to continue until I get to 4 stone and then my other half made comments about seeing my bones and him not liking it
So now I am back to square one, I am definitely staying on track this week though and having a good loss. Right I am off to catch up on this thread now.Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -
Ok i know i shouldnt get so disheartened, but per my own scales at the min, even after a full week of doing extra easy 100% on plan i appear to be a STS. I know i shouldnt jump to conclusions but i just dont want to feel like i've wasted another week come weigh in tomorrow

Great losses today guys.. keep plodding.
Back to report a LOSS:j -1.5lb despite cake and gingerbread men and sweets, capuchinos and god knows what else. The moral isSTICK TO THE PLAN (man)Looking back I can say that I didn't chuck the day away when I wandered off track. I think that might be a little bit important.
(it's only a tiny loss, but I feel like I've lost loads!)They've changed a load of the boards, I've just spent ages going round in circles trying to find you all :rotfl:

Have you considered "toning" weight along side or instead of SW? IF you want to lose weight thats fine, if YOU are worried about the bones all over the shop that are begining to appear ( I worry all the time about the weird shapes I didn't know existed) tone the muscle, at home or at gym. You'll feel better for it.
I have a bunch of negative sayers around me (mostly family) as I am still overweight, I'll keep going thank you very muchly.
Go to where you feel comfortable, happy. And then stay there.Spending_Vs_Saving wrote: »Ok i know i shouldnt get so disheartened, but per my own scales at the min, even after a full week of doing extra easy 100% on plan i appear to be a STS. My Wii told me I had sts this week. 20 minutes before going to group. I didn't eat anything I didn't swap my clothes or go to the loo either.
The scales at the gym have me 4lb lighter in general, the wii is usually around 2-3lb heavier. I can gain a whole 5lb in a day on the wii scales.
Ignore them, use them as a guide, sure, but not an excuse, nor one to panic over - panic in this house equals raiding the chocolate tin:D
Only one set of scales matter. The one you use for Weigh In.
Right, I'm off to bed, all powered up to claim my next shiny for next week0 -

It's a right pain and causing some controversy as they've changed somewhat arbitrarily and without consultation.

Great nsv on the jeans stef and :T to everyone else who's had a good day.
Definitely not a good idea to weigh at home unless you don't go to a group. If you're going it alone then always try to weigh controlling as many variables as possible (clothes, time, meals etc.). Even going to group myself I try to wear similar clothes and have the same sort of breakfast (only day I have cereal) every week. It's about comparing like with like.0 -
maman I wear the same outfit for WI every week without fail - right down to my underwear *blush* sad I know but i like to think it provides consistency :P
WI tonight for me so will keep things light and basic until then
b: 2 poached eggs on toasted wholemeal roll (HeB)
S: crab sticks
L: probably some savoury rice or soup
S: (at group) satsuma or two
T:hmm not sure yet, my dad is coming up to stay the night as he will be painting my bedroom tomorrow...may offer to get fish and chips or something as a thank you. Will call him and see what he fancies
HeA: milk in tea and evening hot choc
Syns: soup if I have it (0.5 or 1.5 depending on which i have) jelly snack (round it up to 0.5 for the sake of counting) evening hot choc (2.0) and then it depends on what i have for dinner - if it's low syn I might have a curly wurly hehe************************************
