  • they do this at my work too! theres a core group that eat out every day and its fish and chips, Chinese, full curries with starters and the works, pasties, massive baguettes. our kitchen is tiny too and the chippy stinks the whole office out. i just don't understand how they can eat that way and be ok. if i ate all that every day i'd be feeling awful and bloated, never mind putting on weight!
The answer is very simple but unfortunately one that you wouldn't be interested in hearing on this thread.
Who I am is not important. What I do is.

feeling positive today. had a few bad days last week but feeling better now. thanks to all the help on here.

I don't know if you were reading a few days ago, Sainsbury's cumberland sausages are just half a syn each. We love them.

    :jRosie on your award.

Good luck lush. I do hope you get the loss you want but sometimes it can take a while to show when you've been exercising (shape often changes before weight) and your er...other issue.:o

I save all my magazines for recipes and ideas. I fnd most of the SW recipe books are just compiltions of what's in the magazines.

Slight change of plan yesterday as no time to make planned roast. Had SW bolognese from the freezer instead so roast tonight.

    MY EE menu:
B: juice, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
    L: slice ham & asparagus
D: lamb chops, roast pots and parsnips, cabbage, carrots, gravy

    Syns: small juice & gravy

    Afternoon all.

Yesterdays tea didnt go to plan as daughter was picked up from work by my dad i had to detour to his to pick her up which led to us having a meal out. I were good though and just had soup and bread leaving out any syns for the day apart from 3 for scan bran as not sure what the soup contained.

Today has gone a little to pot as my sister is coming up to spend a few days but tea tonight will be SW no matter what i decide to have.

    B, apple and banana.
L, omlette, cheese, mushrooms and ham.
T, EITHER - turkey, bacon and thyme casserole, SW shepherds pie or yesterdays SW fakeout KFC, all are prepared and ready for oven to be turned on. Just over made because of not knowing what everyone will want. All will be served with a pile of veg.
    snacks, melon and pineapple.

Great losses are showing again, perhaps people are knowing kicking autumn/winter into touch and slipping into the plan a little better?

  • I met a friend in London for dinner last night, had a really yummy 'superfood' pasta dish which I thoroughly enjoyed... however we did get through 4 bottles of wine. Today I've slipped a little as I'm slightly delicate and craving strawberry milk.

Good luck to everyone weighing in :) I'm buying a 12 week countdown tonight to ensure I stick at this! Fingers crossed for my stone award.

  • 2lb off, fairly happy with that. Leaves me with 1.5lb to go to 2.5st award and 20lbs left to lose to get to target. Can't think of what to do to get back on to weeks where I've lost 3.5-4.5lbs...unless it's because I'm not drinking enough again :S

:Tthat's great. You too psycho, a loss is a loss!

:Ton your loss too lush. It always seems to be the case that you lose weight more quickly at the start. People try various things to speed it up: drinking water's a good idea, have some different meals for variety, try mixing up the plans (have a few red or green days) or try Success Express (or at least upping the SFs).
