You need to go to the Payments and Transfers menu then select Pull in from external account.

If you wanted it to be done automatically then you needed to fill in the top section of the form.

I have a working DD on my Santander esaver, paying money into Lloyds once a month. I definitely didn't do anything else apart from filling in the Santander form and ticking the "monthly" box.

I cannot tell the frequency from my Santander account, but I can see in my Lloyds account that it is monthly. Though this information only became available on the Lloyds account after the DD had been executed twice, before then it said the frequency was "Not Known".

Let us know how you get on, KTF - - second/third etc esaver would be nice if it worked
I confirm that you can have 3 DD per e-saver as I now have 2x e-saver accounts each with 1x DD for each of my Halifax accounts.

So for my 6x Halifax accounts I now have:
    1. DD1 = e-saver 1 DD2 = Tesco
    2. DD1 = e-saver 1 DD2 = Tesco
    3. DD1 = e-saver 1 DD2 = Tesco
    4. DD1 = e-saver 2 DD2 = Tesco
    5. DD1 = e-saver 2 DD2 = Tesco
    6. DD1 = e-saver 2 DD2 = Tesco

Evening all. Does anyone know if you could set up a direct debit to pay into the Santander eSaver from the Santander 123 account? Or does a direct debit need to go between companies?

Why would you want to do that when you can do an instant internal transfer and/or a regular standing order?

I was trying to setup DD from Halifax reward account to 2 e-savers, one with Barclays and other with Lloyds. It can not be done, Barclays will appear as a SO and the form you get to print off from Lloyds will not let you setup a DD only a one off payment.

so I need to find 2 online saving account that I can start with £1 or £10 and is able to setup DD.

I am confused. See my post #127 for (maybe) the easiest solution to the new Halifax T&C.
