I have a quick question:
I have two Reward current accounts and have set up a new Tesco Saver (1.75%) to send a small DD over to the account on the 1st of each month.
Can I set up two separate DD's - 1 on each Current Account - to the same Tesco Saver, or do I have to create two Internet savers with Tesco and create 1 nominated card for each account, so only 1 DD per reward account?0 -
Direct Deposits to your own accounts are easy enough to find: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4168667
With the Santander 123, you would want to transfer all your DDs that attract cashback, though. None of the "personal" DDs do.0 -
So, now Halifax require you to have two direct debits going out of a Reward account to get your free £5 a month, I'm looking for a couple savings accounts that accept direct debits from multiple accounts. Tesco seems an easy option, are there any obvious options for the second account? The first post of this thread suggests the rest are all a bit fiddly to get set up - are there any other easier options?
Cheers

Santander is the obvious answer if you dont mind filling in a few forms.0

So you already have:
1. Tesco Internet Saver allow multiple DD
2. Also as mentioned above: Santander eSaver. But need to do filling application form and post. But they allow multiple DD
3. Post office online saver i9 as well. It just takes a few minutes to apply and get approved. But They will only allow one DD to be set up
This I have seen the most common I have seen in this forum to set up DD. I myself manage to set up and I could tell you it is simpler than I would have thought..0 -
It's quite a specific product, so not sure how many people will find this useful (if any!), but we have set up multiple direct debits to our YBS offset savings account. All set up online last month and have been taken this month. We used for 1 of the new DD requirements on each of our Halifax Reward accts.0

I went for the charity donation route. If you have a https://www.justgiving.com account you can search for charities and set up direct debits through their website.I came, I saw, I saved.

Also on this thread as I am trying to setup 2 x direct debits from my Hfax Rewards account to ensure I continue to receive the free £5/month.
I setup a Tesco savings account -very quick and no problem. Direct debits setup instantly - one from each of my reward accounts. Brilliant.
HOWEVER - was looking for another place to setup the second direct for each account. People have recommended Yorkshire Bank. Setup an account but can't find out how to setup direct debits to that account?
Can anyone help please?0 -
Use Santander instead. Much easier.0
