I've just been looking at the santander website to see if I can find out more about the direct debit option on the e-saver account but I can't see it anywhere.

Can anyone point me to this info please.

Seemingly 3 is the max DD you can setup for the Santander e-saver. After sending in the forms for the second time, my reward accounts 4 - 6 are not showing the DD whilst 1 - 3 are.

Could be an admin error by Santander. I would try again.

I did read the opening post but what I was looking for is some reference to it on the Santander website where they actually mention that DD is available for the e-saver account. I've had a scan over the account info and also other pages on their site but I can't see it mentioned.

Why don't you just use the link in the opening post? It's been put there to make it easier for people to find what they need to set up a DD for their Santander esaver.
  • I understand you have to send Santander bank statements of the originating details to proof Halifax account ownership?
Has anyone done it? Did you get your statements back from them?
Would they accept internet banking printouts or does it needs to be an original?

Yes, I have done it. Sent a printout of the online statement (all I had) with a grovelling note to say it's all I had. Didn't get the printout back, didn't expect to get it back. All I wanted was the DD set up, which they did.

I sent an original printed statement, front page only. It was returned OK

    Dear all

I wonder how many DDs are allowed to be set up from Satander eSaver i5.

I myself have set up successfully 2DDs by sending them two separates form. I wanted to set up another 3 DDs but want to hear from people experience first before I do it.

I am aware that there is not any restriction but I just want to learn from people who have done it.

How many DDs have you managed to set up from Satander eSaver i5 as well as Tesco Internet saver without getting a problem ?.

Similarly to Tesco Internet Saver, how many DDs have you manged to se up from this account without getting a problem ?
