Ah no wonder I felt so rough today - that chesty cough turned nasty today and turned into a chest infection.

I nearly fell apart at work as it worsened at lunchtime and I can't remember the last time I felt quite that bad. Anyway managed to get in to the Drs AGAIN and had to leave work early as I looked and felt so unwell. Now on antibiotics for a week to clear it up.

Off work on leave for 3 days which I might get back if I can claim sickness for them which would be good.

Off for some strawberries and yoghurt for tea then a very early night as I feel dreadful and I will be taking it very easy tomorrow

    NSD 1 today

Had a day of laying down all day while feeling dreadful. Had a day off the dissertation as my head won't work that way at the moment. Hoping to feel a bit better tomorrow after a day of complete rest.

Will be another early night again a probably a little sleep in like this morning.

One thing I did do was open another savings account for the start of my long term savings plan. Thought I may as well and move that tiny spare £2 into it to open it up. Starting small then next year will be able to really save more than now. The plan to reduce overdraft down is working well and on track to reduce it by £110 this month if all stays to plan

No problems getting another NSD in today then either making it NSD 2

Oh Dear, hope you feel better soon!

I know what you mean..... I've been struggling with an upset tummy today, so I have taken it pretty easy too. Some times we just have to be kind to ourselves X

Well done on opening the extra savings account. Is it online, where you can see it? I would find that an incentive and enjoy watching the balance increase :-))

Wishing for a better day for you tomorrow.

Thanks - felt better for one or two hours today then back to chesty rough phlegmness again. Looks like tomorrow will be pretty similar. Appetite has come back today which is a good sign after losing it for most of this week.

Savings accounts are now set up growing slowly nicely over the next 12mths for
    House insurance
    Car insurance
    Holidays
    10 year savings plan

Looks like another NSD weekend too

Have come a long way in 10mths and happily in a better money management place

At the risk of sounding like a right old moaning minnie I feel rough as anything this morning. As I've done my head in about not doing any dissertation work yesterday eiither I'm going to do some today regardless of how I feel because there are only 2 weeks left and I still have over half of it to write - aaaaaaaaargggggghhhhhhhh!

Hey ho, I'll be glad when it's in and finished

No problems declaring a NSD for today as I'm not going anywhere apart from taking the dog out for a walk.

So being unwell has some benefits then for my overdraft level!
NSD 3 and also no clothes spend day 3

Have tidied up one section I wrote so it should be in the final stage and also have just written a bit more. Bit stuck now what else to write so will have a little think about what to do next

Have crawled over the 6000 word mark and halfway to the final draft after more or less rewriting my results section to a point of it being suitable for submitting. Much happier with what I've written this time around. Still have 1000 words left to write on this section.

Time for a break and some fresh air with a dog walk then back for some more thinking and writing.

Enjoy the walk, then back to the slog. We've all been there! It's worth it.

Another 500 words written on that section. Laptop died this afternoon for good. Thankfully backed up and had to reconnect desktop and update it - which all worked even more thankful of that

5500 left to do in 2 weeks - full steam ahead with a chest infection following a wound infection - what a month this has turned into
