A good morning getting little jobs out of the way including parcelling up those ebay sales ready to post, emptying out the boiler cupboard ready for the service tomorrow and found some more items long forgotten about for ebay listings.

Then onto sorting out car insurance. Really pleased to have got my monthly payments down by almost £4 per month and more or less to the level of the cheapest quote I could find by staying with the same company.

Then got a quote for house insurance, due in a few months, which is £10 a month cheaper for the same cover and no interest on monthly payments while I save up for a cash payment the year after and cashback too. I expect this to be the lowest quote I'll find. I'm really happy with this quote which makes a change from last year when my premium increased so much.

All this means, come the autumn, I'll be almost £14 per month better off which might not sound much, but it is to me, and will make a big difference to my outgoings which will have reduced significantly over the last 12mths in October. Just the phone tariff to reduce down in a couple of months time and see how I get on there!

NSD 18 today - get in!

A bit more typing up done and will do another couple of sections and the rest tomorrow.

Also did another house ins quote which came in even lower - halving the price I currently pay and £10 less than the earlier quote. Will check the small print closer to the time but that certainly is a nice surprise after all the hard work I've put in over the last 9mths to reducing my outgoings.

Off tomorrow alledgedly for dissertation work - will have to get a lot done in the morning while waiting in for the annual boiler service then its off to the Dr's again for another wound review to see how that's progressing.

Forgot to mention I received a reply from my PPI claim yesterday saying I should hear a decision in 8 weeks time. Now that will be a massive surprise if I get a decision in my favour there.

Typed up 2nd stage analysis - still loads to do.

Annual service completed for boiler - all ok there

Wound dressed once again - looks like infection has almost gone now. Onto different dressings now and back to work on Wednesday afer I decided to rest it for another day as its still very uncomfortable at times and also see if that infection clears by then

Ebay parcels posted and extra payment made to credit card of £180 after fees and postage costs dedeucted from ebay profits

Not a NSD as I bought the replacement shower hose I've needed for ages - oh well, that's it though for this week!

Fab start to the day - took the dog out early to avoid the thunder storms - just made it back as the lightening arrived!

Facemask, exfoliate and hair pre wash treatment and hairmask done to make sure I do them rather than not. Then it's on with plenty of study today and back at work tomorrow.

Will be a NSD today and the rest of the week too, including payday - just treat it the same as any other day

Can safely declare today as a NSD happily! £2 more into my treat pot as 2 more beauty items have been used up - saving up for some new walking shoes to see me through the autumn and winter months with an estimated budget of £25 from the outlet shop in a couple of months time - £8 to go!

Mind you if I can get through that massive tub of elasticizer bought in another life and way of thinking I will put £10 in for using that up as the final remenant of my previous excessive way of thinking and spending. Can't wait until its gone - will do 2 treatments this week!

Have spent a couple of hours on uni work - written a bit, found some more papers to read and now onto looking for some more

Ooh, have just spoken to my manager who told me not to go in tomorrow and ask for a sick note from the Drs. Ok, will do and will find out on Thursday. So it's a week full of appts for me this week - 1 on Monday, 2 tomorrow and one on Thursday and maybe one on Friday too! It has been very uncomfortable today though so I think its the right thing not to go in although I was prepared for it - will put my work clothes away then.

I get a day's AL back from this week which is always good and maybe one more back for Friday if they give me a sicknote.

Not much else to report - sorted out some old receipts while looking for some paperwork which I still can't find - got rid of loads of old ones and sorted others into shredding bag.

Early tea for me I think, I'm hungry!

Went through some old paperwork again tonight and did another super speedy sort out chucking out loads for recycling and shredding. Freed up a fair bit of space to shuffle other paperwork into new folders and free up some more space. This will be my job once the dissertation is completed. A nice and easy job of tidying, sorting and organising neatly and orderly. Also felt good to get rid of that paperwork from my past that completely summed my life up at that time and how I spent so free and easily on the credit cards. I can't quite believe I spent like that for all those years. Shows me how much my thinking has changed around spending and the drive I have to pay it all back and save money for what I need

Powercut here just as I got into bed to listen to the radio. Hope it comes back on soon!

Payment cleared to credit card - yeah! Onwards I go repaying the debt.

So today, will do 2 hrs study on something this morning, do a quick bit of tidying, do another hour of study this afternoon before going to the Drs.

How exciting - mind you, can't complain could be at work instead!

Ok, no studying done yet - eek!

Have done a lot of paprwork tidying and sorting - 2 desk drawers reclaimed and loads for shredding and recycling.

New kettle arrived today - very nice it is too and well worth £15 with free delivery. Let's hope it lasts as long as my previous one.

NSD 20 today meaning target reached - extending to 27 NSD next as I work hard to both reduce my overdraft over the next few months and study hard on that dissertation
