            Dear fed up,
I have spent today reading your diary & have really enjoyed it, thank you. Why do people call you Sparkles?
You sound like such a stylish person who really takes care of herself, I love hearing about your clothes & make-up. What do you consider to be essential skincare & make-up items? I am interested in this because I am embarking on a self designed programme of self betterment, which will include sorting out & paying off my debts, but also taking better care of myself too. I am fed up looking and feeling frumpy.
I'd also love to know if your instincts about the person giving you the eye back in May have come to anything?
Anyway, you're doing brilliantly, well done, I'm so impressed by your determination & how much you have achieved while working full time, studying, volunteering, looking after your dog etc, well done!MBNA = £4,000 / Next = £925 (approx. tbc on 19/8)
 Tesco = £2,910.11 / Smile overdraft = £500
 Bank of Scotland = £2,782.830

Hi there, always nice to hear someone enjoys reading my rambles especially as I don't imagine anyone ever reads this apart from me!
 Right then;
Sparkles - this name stuck on the forum as I sounded happy and sparkly as opposed to how fedup I was when I first joined. My plan is that when my debt is repaid I'm registering again under a new name that is a tad more sparkly
Skincare - My essentials are these. Always take ALL your make up off before you go to bed, cleanse morning and evening, the tone if you want and always use ans eye cream that you can use and then moisturise. I do this twice a day everyday and usually try and fit a facemask in. If you don't have one a teaspoon of honey does the trick just as well once you get over the fact you're putting honey on your face! As for brands just find one you like. When I downbranded from salon brands to the high street there was no difference apart from the price and me finally realising that beauty brands don't make me happy
Positivity - take little steps, aim to do them everyday then they become part of your routuine whatever they are - skincare, wear something different or wear the clothes you already have in your wardrobe or jewellry. Same with exercise - if you don't start small, build up slowly and accept it will take a while to get where you want to. Remember slow and steady wins the race!
 Good luck!

 Wash living room curtains
 Rehang all curtains
 Clean bathroom
See if leg stops weeping today

2 more bids on items on ebay, looks like a good week ahead on there for a change. Also listed 3 more things so that's it for this free listing weekend.
Curtains all washed, dried and rehung smelling fresh and looking bright and clean. Also ironing all done and put away.
Did study this afternoon and wrote some of the easier bits to do rather than leave them to a mad panic later on. Upto 4000 words written now leaving a minimum of 8000 to go.
Will do a little more analysis work this evening too and plenty tomorrow
Knees and leg healing up and looking better and nasty!
NSD 12 today and a full No Spend weekend. Good job!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550

More washing on this morning - well it's good to take advantage of this lovely weather. Sleeping bag freshen up much needed and outdoor jacket done today!
Have done some more financial work and set up a fixed payment for mbna above the min payment to make sure it gets paid each month. They certainly don't make it easy to do this and prefer you to make the min payment and then rely on you to over pay with an additional payment and then you might not bother for a whole variety of reasons.
Still to do the same for virgin and also set up a regular payment to house insurance savings account. Now I have savings a/c set up for car ins, house ins and maybe even a holiday next year. Decided to save a small amount each month for each and do this as it seems more achievable this way. I think I can do it this way plus it works much better for me to save it all separately. I'm already skint with not much left over but hey lets aim for an easier year the year after next.
The next 12mths will be as hard work as the last 9mths and boy it will be worth it! Oh yes!
I'm getting there - this journey is hard going but made worthwhile by the glimpse of a better future debt free and some rewards surprisingly found along the way like surprising long term 0% offers and the thrill of saving.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550

3 lots of analysis done leaving 4 more to complete for the 2nd round.
3 items selling on ebay with plenty of watchers on some items which is always good
Knees stll tight from the damage - not looking forward to wearing trousers tomorrow but think I'd better cover them up while they heal a lot more than now
Sleeping bag all washed and dry along with coat leaving me thinking what shall I wash next while the weather's so nice!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550

Another item has a bid on it making it 4 items will sell. All progressing well so far.
Did another 2nd round of analysis this evening making 4/7 completed. Will do the rest this week before the weekend. Then it will be onto the next phase ready to start writing up properly at some point soon. Will also type bits and pieces up this week too.
Leg is now aching away big style and the bruising is now starting to come out. Looks like its going to take longer than a week to heal up properlyfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550

Well, what a day. My leg wound became infected today while at work and the pharmacist next door ordered me to the Drs asap to start antiobiotics.
Got an urgent appt, went along and was told to rest it and not go to work if possible, start antibios straight away, gave me a pack of dressings to use twice daily and go back on Friday to follow up and see if they need to do a different course of action. Thank goodness I asked the pharmacist for some advice. No wonder my leg was aching so much today.
So, it will be a few days of rest as my leg aches a lot and follow all the advice. Should give me some time to do some more analysis though so every cloud...
Came home and wiped the sofa down for a clean and popped the sofa throw back on after it was well dried outside today. Also set up that fixed payment for virgin and the savings payment too so full steam ahead for next month!
Ebay parcels posted at lunchtime before all this happened.
What else, NSD 14 as I'm not counting urgent prescription costs for todayfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
