£47 made on ebay today! Really pleased as once fees and postage are taken out I reckon £40 can go to the CC. Some more finish tomorrow so lets see how they get on first

Fab start to the day with my usual long weekend dog walk and my best time for ages run - yeah! Those hayfever tablets are working well as this is the best I've felt afterwards for a long time.

What's on today? Finish off a few jobs then do a couple of hours study another long walk then fab myself up with a facemask and sort my nails out later!

£70-odd made on ebay today and 10 items sold.

The ones that sell are the ones I don't expect to sell easily! Very pleased!

Errands run this morning - posted ebay parcels, paid ebay fees, paid postage from proceeds made and then paid remainder to virgin CC - £70.

Then discovered they have offered me a 0% bal tx rate until August next year. Need to work out how to shuffle the cards around to make the best of this offer.

'Try it for the first time' - filled my tyres with air for the first time ever - about time! Shockingly one was very low indeed. It was very easy and free and now I've done it once I'll be checking regularly in future.

Budgets updated - Christmas and birthdays - all in the bank leaving haircut budget to do. Felt very grown up paying money into the bank which makes a nice change these days opposed to constantly drawing it out.

Better get on with some uni work this afternoon after a few days off!

    Worked out the cc shuffle

Have applied for the 2 x 0% offers on 2 cards and split the balance from one card as the 0% rate runs out in a few months and these offers are for 12 months. Awaiting a reply to see if they are successful transfers. If they are successfully transferred, it means I will be down from 4 credit cards last October, to 2 credit cards now in July and £3000 paid back and onto 0% interest rates.

Also reducing my credit limit by half from the astronomical level it was must be a good move for my credit score to show I haven't access to and used up all that credit I did previously.

If this goes through I will be both really pleased with the progress made and in quite some disbelief at how much progress I can make in 8 months. Worth all the effort now - imagine where I can be in a further 8 months?

Balance transfers have both gone through meaning once the last payment has gone through this week the outstanding balance will be 1p.

I'm going to close the card down and happily get down to 2 cards. Once the account is closed I will happily shred that card into tiny pieces once its defrosted from the cup of water in the freezer where they live. I put them there years ago to stop me spending on them. It was only when I deleted them from my online accounts that I stopped spending on them for good.

So down to 2 credit cards this week with balances.

Oct 2012 - 4 credit cards with all similar balances of over £3000
March 2013 - 3 credit cards and one cleared and closed down
July 2013 - 2 cards and one more cleared and left closed down

Let's see what the next step is on the journey.

    NSD 2 today
