Well, today had another finances day after work.

Had a review with the bank which was very helpful and I have opened an isa and put some money into it for the first time! That's my TIFTFT for this week again!

So all savings are getting a better rate of interest and then I will transfer them out when needed. Had a useful chat about how I'm doing and acknowledging there is another year to go and will be in a better place. I am closing the cleared credit card down once the payment clears next week as this was my gut feeling to do this and I'm sticking with this decision. Looking forward to shredding that card very soon - I'm smiling already about that!

Have updated my accounts book so I know exactly what the budgets are for and how much and where. Budgets updated now and all done.

PPI reclaim form sent off - not expecting anything but worth a try.

NSD scuppered today after bought some stamps and a birthday card and paid for parking. Rest of weekend will be NSD though as just need some fruit for work next week all budgeted for. Yesterday was NSD 4.

Time to catch up on some housework to free up the weekend as guess what - its' dissertation analysis time!

Brilliant! Just checked ebay and have 4 items with bids on including 2 items IvW wanted to go for ages. Only low bids but certainly better than nothing and frees up some more space - yeah!

    At long long last!

    I did it!

The 2nd credit card has been closed down. 2 gone, 2 to go. Halfway there. The journey is half completed. Look where I have travelled to from last September to now. A false summit is where I am right now, as I realise I'm not at the summit yet. Backpack put back on, the journey continues.

A little regular savings account set up for 12mths - only a small amount but I'm not bothered about that as every bit helps to get me into a regular saving habit.

4 items sold on ebay and several relisted and one already has a bid on it at long last! Never give up, they sell at some point! Only tiny amounts made this week but as I said before every bit helps as it goes to pay back that credit card debt.

Well......no study yesterday - just did not feel like it at all even though I'm freaking out a bit with the deadline looming rapidly on the horizon and 9000 words left to write of difficulty!

So.....today with renewed determination I will be in all day studying so I feel better by the time I go to bed and stop freaking out inside!

I have fabbed this morning to make sure it get's done - a long dog walk - v.warm and an exfoliate and face mask currently on with a hair pack them it's on with that analysis section

Just before I make a start on things...while out walking the dog I had a little brainwave about what I could save up for in my mini savings accounts. This will go towards car or house insurance next year as I wanted to do this for next year. Here's hoping this plan works!
