Right, I've worked out I will go over my overdraft limit again this month. However I have worked out my budget as per my plan to get back in credit amd under my limit. So I will go over this month, I've added every single thing and charge up for the following month and if I stick strictly to my budgets I can halve the overdraft in a month.

    Plan:
    • I will halve my overdraft by end August
    • I will stick to ALL my budgets including food and if I don't have enough money for extra's I don't have enough
    • I will do all my account transfers as planned
    • I will draw out my food and petrol budgets AND stick to them.
    • I will NOT buy anything extra for myself ALL August including clothes and beauty products

Wish me luck! It's going to take some determination and strength of character and I'm determined to do it. I do have the strength to do it too as I really want to change my financial situation to get it to the best it can be.

In an attempt to avoid more charges again this month to pay in Sept I made the decision to increase my overdraft again which went through and was accepted.

I will keep it at this level for 2 months then decrease it as per the plan.

Have made a note of my plan in my financial 'journey' notebook I started along with this diary - one of the really good things I did as its been extremely helpful to see how far I've come and write my plans and steps down.

Come the end of the month its onto the next stage of regaining control of my finances along with paying the credit cards off.

Looks like there will be a few months more of no clothes spends months. Never mind! It gives me a chance to wear all those clothes I bought over the last 12mths instead!

Today is a wonderful NSD 15

Also double, no triple, no quadruple checked my plans for the overdraft - the plan has started already and after 2mths I will be in a much better situation
now I understand how to plan and what I am doing and the small tweaks to the plan to progress further. Remember, small changes for maximum gain, oh yes.

I have also cleaned the bathroom and washed the bathroom stuff too all dried on the line.

5/7 2nd round lots of analysis done and I'll do one more tonight to take it to 6/7

How did I get on with my plan?

    Pretty good
Analysis all completed for 2nd round - time to type up next
BR cleaned and bedding washed and changed
Floors swept and mopped amd dried
Food shop done - went over with strawberries instead of chocolate - cost more but hey it's summer and why does fruit cost more than chocolate?
    LR cleaned
    Banking checks all done
£2 in change dutifully put into change pot

Just a run round with the hoover tomorrow left and all done bar some ironing later on this weekend

    Onto other news..
I've just realised my new 1% of debt repayment is is £73.50 and I'm now paying £120 additional to minimun credit card payments I will be blasting my way through those percentages each month. That will be an extra 1.5% each month repaid meaning by the end of the year that will be an extra 7.5% repaid.

Also ebay proceeds will accrue more percentages too. Up to £36 so far with 6 items with bids.

Feeling really positive that in a few months time my account will be firmly back in credit. Plans all set up ready to go, amounts all checked, budgets checked. Ready to go. Good job I'll be busy writing that dissertation for most of the next month so no clothes spends and no nights out either!

Another item selling on ebay making 7 items with bids on - very pleased as I'll have a nice amount to pay off the cc.

Feeling very excited about the plan to get my account back in credit - can't wait to get there. Plan has started, on with it I go!

Off to Dr's later on to get the leg wound checked out - not much better really. Then it's off to vol work placement as we have a lot of work planned for this afternoon. Luckily all sat down!

Easy tea tonight too and have meal planned for the weekend trying out courgette fritters and salad wuth new potatoes I think for tomorrow

Firstly a NSD 17 today in the bag!

Secondly, went to Dr's appt this morning and not much change so after a super quick saline wound wash carry on with the antib's and dressings then another review on Monday.

Thirdly vol. work placement went ok and we got one of the big jobs ticked off. I treated it as a trial run to see how comfortable my knees where at work - not terribly as it turned out. Hoping they improve over the weekend

Lastly, happily another item has a bid on it on ebay - all going well for lots of items finish tomorrow. Found a few more things to go on this weekend of summer holiday clothes that are waaaay too big sadly. Next year when I go away I'll to buy quite a few high summer outfits. Better start planning that now then!

A great day with my family today which was lovely spending time together.

Mum treated me to some new trousers in the sale and herself to a rather delightful new jacket. I'm on track for another no spend clothes month - who would have thought it! Going for one more in August too!

A great deal of ebay sales rolling in too today - let's see what the final figure is tomorrow so far around £125 - much more than I expected

Had a great idea tonight about a long term10 year savings plan to have a great present to myself for my next big birthday.

Will start off small then for a year then will have enough to open a different long term account. Will discuss with the bank later this year. Now if I do this that will be a step forward and a great result for all my hard work!

Oh how my mind is working at the moment, love it!

More ebay sales rolling in for a change. Final results tomorrow evening after fees are paid and postage to see what's paying the credit card back.
