A lovely start to the day - up and off out on our usual weekend dog walk then back for a run - 60mins today so not a great time today for 6miles however very enjoyable in the warmth and under the bright blue sky. Aiming for another run tomorrow maybe the shorter one, will see.
As for today I think its time for another garden tidy up after I've finished my coffee and recovered! All while listening to my beloved TMS!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
An hour in the garden then a nice leisurely lunch will be off out again for another hour in the garden shortly and washing hokey cokey time.
Updated my spending diary and finance journal last night
Results are as follows;
Petrol - £90.71/£100 - lowest monthly spend since I started tracking the amount I spend on fuel. It's working very well by sticking to my monthly and weekly fuel budget.
Food - £141.21/£120 - not doing as well and went over by £21.21. Will try harder next month and not do a big stock up at the start of the month and then leave me with much less for the rest of the month. Will take it week by week and aim to stay within the weekly budget of £30.
Clothes - a No Spend month at last!
NSD - on target to get past 26 for the month - on 24 NSD so far
Budgets - all savings plans stuck to for this month of birthdays/Christmas/car/dog budgetsfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Check me out today - garden tidied up a lot with lots of dandelions removed, 2 long dog walks, run done, bathroom cleaned, floors swept and mopped, hoovered and 2 loads of washing dried outside.
Just leaves a little pile of ironing for tomorrow, a quick swish around with a duster, 2 lots of washing and all done!
Alongside the usual long dog walks, a run - although legs feel a little achy right now! - and MUST do some study tomorrow - an hour in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoonfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
A lovely start to the day - usual long weekend dog walk in the breight sunm then back for a run - just 4miles today in the lovely sun, breeze and under that bright blue sky!
Washing on, I'm showered, dressed, hair pre treated and hair masked all done and nails tidied up. Having a little rest with a coffee, toast and kit kat and few pieces of choccie - hungry!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Did some reading this afternoon which made sense for a change - will read another chapter tonight.
All jobs done plus long dog walk and a cheap storecupboard meal of chicken and chorizo jambalaya which made more than expected so lots of easy teas for this week!

Hmm quite a spendy day
Petrol £25.24
Vets and meds £35.98
Glasses £120 - £90 coming back from this leaving £30 spend
Gas and Elec monthly bill - £54.40
Refund for dental bill £18
Refund from RM for parcel problem £7.60
Vet savings - need £150-200 to save up this year alongside the monthly £10 aleady being saved for expenditure. Could really do without this right now as very few spare pennies and had budgeted to start holiday savings plan this month so looks like this will have to go on hold which is not what I wanted at all, still this is life. Unless I use the £80 in a savings account which would make sense and then leaves £70 - £120 which would take 4-6 mths to save. Looks like this option would make better sense
£20 per month - 7 - 10mths to save
£30 per month - 5 - 7mths to save
£20 per month starting with £80 - 4mths to save
£20 per month starting with £80 - 6mths to save
So, the rest of the week will have to NSDs with only food spends allocated and I've found another interesting PhD to apply for, will be having a more detailed look when I get chance
Rubbish day at work as per - not in the mood for that at all. Why is it that those short weeks feel longer?final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
That's better today with a NSD making my 26 target and should be able to exceed it at last!
Another boring day however I managed to get a couple of jobs ticked off and also finished off my study book along with starting another application form to finish off writing at the weekend.
As there's not much on tv tonight think I might get on with a bit of cleaning to free up some time at the weekend for study.
Also remembered to post my claim back form ready to cancel the policy next week I hopefinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Well I did it and reached my highest NSD total ever - 28! Alongside a complete No Spend month on clothes - yeah! Next step is to keep it going for next month.
Picked up my new trainers today and had planned to go for a run after work but for some reason I have felt decidedly dodgy today so being sensible thought better of it and will go this weekend instead.
Picked up my new glasses yesterday which took 2 days to arrive! Already had a lot of compliments about them and I really like both pairs especially the ones that are completely different to what I usually wear.
Work placement went well today - project progressing nicely
Plans for the weekend are the usual - bit of cleaning as did half of it the other day, some study, a walk up town, a couple of runs, bit of cooking, some study reading, and a bit of fabbing of me!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Loving those new trainers as I came back from a lovey run this morning - 4 miles in 37 mins - marginally quicker. Feel a lot better this morning after a good night's sleep. Also a nice long weekend walk with my dog which was a really nice start to the weekend.
Thinking today will do the worst job of sweeping and mopping the floors out of the way, washing is out on the line drying in the breeze and maybe finsh off reading the uni paper I started yesterday to feel quite studious and disciplined if I do!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
I've had a very good chilling and relaxing day today - very nice indeed!
Off out first thing for the weekend dog walk for an hour
Then back out for a 4 mile run
Then did all the cleaning that needed finishing and washing
Then back out for another longer dog walk
Then made tea from fridge and storecupboard ingredients
Then decided to do the stock up shop as felt full of energy - got some heavily reduced fresh whole fish as a result my favourite- yeah! All parcelled up in the freezer now
Next will fab my self up ready to settle down and watch the athletics
Oh yes did read my uni paper too!
Tomorrow will be much the same with a walk up to town and back for a planned spend day I think.
Nails to fab tonight I thnk as all the cleaning's done using the rubbish nail strengthener I've had for years - at least its being used now at last! Talking of which treat pot has restarted again with its first £1 again after the successful trainers savings plan
