Sold 4 items on ebay today making £76 in paypal and 2% of one debt paid back taking me to 16% repaid in total - not far to go to 20% point now. Still have plenty to list on there and relist on the next free listing weekend.

What else - rejigged written sections this afternoon with plenty of writing to do tomorrow.

Another long dog walk in the sun which was hot this afternoon!! How unusual!

Also a nice pamper session for skin and feet and nails too!

A great day here - a long morning dog walk, a 40 min run in the lovely weather and also have dyed my hair too as all that grey showing through was doing my head in!

Coffee time now then its onto a mini garden tidy up, sow a few seeds then lunchtime then an hour of study.......if I don't put it off for later!

All jobs finished today for washing, cleaning, garden sweep up, seeds sowing etc. No study yet but will do a couple of hours later as the only things left to do are the long dog walk and bath my stinky dog then get his stuff washed to put out tomorrow.

Did a bit more budgeting this afternoon - all progressing nicely from last October when I began - planning a holiday monthly budget to start - not too much each month but a bit of a total to aim for next year. Looks like no summer holibobs this year as no spare pennies to go but not to upset by this and will aim to be in a better position next year to go by starting off my savings plan next month.

Also worked out the house ins savings plan to aim to save for the premiuim for the following year and get off those monthly installments. Decided to aim for this one first and delay the car ins until more debts are repaid as the interest isn't too hefty on this one.

Next plan of action is to reactivate the dormant bank a/c for some of the budgeting plans, discover if I have another one or if it's been closed down by sending a letter off tomorrow. Then its onto some more CC shuffling around onto the 0% cards and lower the amount on the high interest card and reorganise the repayments to pay more off this one first.

How many years has it taken for it finally all to sink in - too many to count - I'm pleased it's all working well and going in the right direction. The NSD challenge is one of the biggest helps in ways I didn't expect, it certainly is working well helping me get my spending under control and planning my spending better so that it's becoming much more like second nature. I'm also really pleased with how the various budgeting plans are going and how I've cut back in some areas and saving up for other areas.

    NSD 6 today

£60 transferred from paypal after paying fees and which will be going to the highest interest card repayment this week.

Highest interest rate card in getting close to the under £2000 which is my next aim for progress to get under this mark and it will feel like I'm getting there. Hoping it's free listing again next weekend and some more items sell to get the funds to pay back some more

What a long boring day at work today - at least there are only 2.5 days left to go this week - phew

Ebay sales posted, bill paid, signed up for another 2mths on diet plan and sent off letter to see if an old account is open or closed - so at least got those jobs ticked off!

6w6P done after work for the first time in ages - glad got that out of the way too!

I'm back after a busy old week!

Upto NSD 9 so far this week - will be getting a couple more in this weekend too all being well.

This weekend is full of getting on top of the cleaning as usual, trying out a couple of the 'eat for a pound a day' recipes again, WILL do some uni work, exercise and long dog walks.

Went to voluntary work place yesterday afternoon and had a productive couple of hours and finished offthe first draft of stage 1 of the project I'm working on. Certainly a nice way to end the week out of my usual manic office environment! Hopefully I can apply that productivity to today and get a lot done in 2 hours at home!

Told my friend about the eat fir a pound a day recipes I've discovered and we might give this a go as we've been on about reigning the food shop spends in somewhat. I'm trying a couple out this weekend after the first ones were rather lovely. So, today its carrot, cumin and kidney bean burgers then mushroom risotto for tea and some carrot and coriander soup making for lunches next week

Fab start to the day here - a long dog walk, a run and a garden sweep up. Jusr having a little coffee break watching the F1 qualifying now.

What else do I have planned? Oh yes! Looking for some new cheap economical meals to fit into my meal planning and get that food shopping budget down somewhat.

Lots of cheap meals found, written down and added into online recipe book calculated kcals and fat

All use up quite a few of my dried stock cupboard ingredients which is also very useful and they also make up enough portions to freeze for easy teas or lunches. Afterall not going to let the hectic months ahead get in the way of my healthy eating!

Right time to try one out!

A very productive day leaving only a couple of jobs to do tomorrow which is good.

A lovely tea of mushroom risotto followed by rhubarb crumble - yum! Well deserved after a run this morning and 2 x over 60 min dog walks with my increasingly nutty dog!

Also made my super cheap and easy soup today - carrot and coriander for a change this week and also made the carrot, cumin and kidney bean burgers which were also super cheap and easy.

Trying hard not to cave in to some sale clothes and ruin my NSD. Staying strong and logged off there....And lastly, a wonderful NSD 10 gained!
