NSD 21 today - did have to do a little petrol top up and a little food top up - both budgeted for

Aside from that a pretty dire day at work today - glad its over with not long until the weekend now. On the upside today, got another nice compliment today about looking really well that really cheered me up!

NSD 23 today - petrol and food end of month shop from list both budgeted for

I was very good and dropped off 2 bags at the charity shop and stayed out of the rest of the shops. Was pleased to get back home after a super busy morning interviewing on the research project. 5 done now - coming together data wise.

A long breezy gusty walk with Mr dog down the canal which he's now sleeping off after lots of running around!

I'll be having an eatly night as want to get some jobs done in the morning - tidy garden up, tidy another bed up, quick windows wash, gutter clearing, washing then onto transcribing for a couple of hours and usual housework and more listing as it's free listing weekend again - hoping to get some more CC repayment funds in along with 2 longer dog walks - nice!

Wide awake at 5am - with a very interrupted nights sleep coughing - great.

Oh well, got up in the end as my mind was racing, so breakfast eaten, tea drunk, washed up, honey and lemon being drunk to try and ease my throat.

Totted up petrol, food and gas and electric spends

Food - £127.94 - over by £7.94
Petrol - £91.07 - under by £28.93
Gas and elec monthly payment - £57.45 - down again from last month and happily reduced for last 2 months.
Total quarterly bill = £204.13 (equivalent to £68.04 per mth DD). Not brill but better than last year and also paying monthly is working much better than one bill every 3mths

Inspired by watching the eat for £1 a day item on the news I'm going to try a few of the recipes out as I have a lot of things to use up.

First one to try is the carrot, cumin and kidney bean burger with sweet potato wedges and tomato sauce then sausage casserole with lentils for tea with veg and maybe a jam sponge pud with custard.

Been out for a long walk around the water park with my prefectly spring crackers dog who lived up to his name this morning!

Just having a coffee before a bit of housework I think - oh the life!

Also NSD 24 today, almost there - 2 more to go.........before the end of the month

I made the 'fiesty soup' for lunch - gorgeous! I got 3 portions out ofd it making it 14p per portion - unbelievable!

Making something with the old dried butter beans tomorrow that have been languishing in the cupboard for years. It will go in the freezer for an easy tea at some point over the next few weeks.

Bit of cleaning done - off to do a bit more shortly, plus 17 items relisted today with a few more to pop on later on today

At this week's WI - a lb gained - then bizarrely tried a skirt on that was a bit tight last year and it fits and a skirt for work is way too big. Slightly bizzare nontheless, I'm not too bothered about what the scales say.

Today I'm finishing fabbing the house up, walking up to town, long dog walks and uni work this afternoon.

One log dog work done - very pleasant and woke me up nicely!

One bid received on ebay which was a nice surprise to wake up to - early days though with a long way to go yet

House all fabbed up, washing done and out drying meaning its time to get on with some studying before I talk myself out of it

Argggghhhh! Transcribing super slowly, 30mins left for this one - will try very hard to finish it tonight in 10 min sections. This 10 mins took over an hour.

10mins when back from long dog walk while tea cooks then the final 10mins after tea. If only it took 10 mins!

I did it and stuck to my word to do an hours transcribing after work - did it and got to the end of the 1st interview at last! I wrote a plan for the week ahead to get on with it so that's a good start to the week doing 2 hrs tonight! Will start the next lot of transcribing tomorrow and aim for an hour again - hopefully might even get a little quicker with it all at some stage!

Also got an email today about the PhD which I thought I'd been screened out from. So another application form needs doing along with some other admin things. Will have a go at that this week too.

Also had a talk with a careers advisor about what to do next and need to email so stuff for them to look at and feedback on.

NSD 25 today - one more to go and target reached tomorrow.
