Phoned up Saturday to start the transfer process from A&L to Kent Reliance. Used the 0800 number from a previous post, very helpful!
Just hope they get the transfer done soon! Left it a bit late as bonus expires today!!
Had conformation yesterday through the post that the funds have been sent to Kent Reliance! So about 15 days including bank holidays and weekends.2014 running challenge 587.4 miles / 250 miles0 -

Same here, phoned A&L two weeks ago to request the transfer and they haven't done anything yet. This ISA is the only account I still have with A&L, and I'm glad I closed the others.0

Mine left A&L a week ago en-route to Abbey and its still not there yet.0

At the end of March it took approx 12 days (5days interest loss) to complete the transfer from conception.
I suspect it's somewhat busier for the ISA dept right now as we're into the new financial year, therefore it will possibly be taking longer !!0 -
I am in a similar position. Ruffler gave me two transfer forms, since I wanted to transfer ISAs from both Abbey and A and L. I took the two forms into their respective branches, whose staff accepted the forms and said that they would process the transfers. So I am a little disturbed to hear that A and L require a telephone call, rather than a form. Does anyone know if they will indeed be able to act on the transfer form?0

They won't. I sent a transfer form. After a week or so of thinking it was all getting sorted they sent it back to me and said I need to ring up to transfer. I did that straight away, nearly three weeks ago and I'm still waiting! Although online, on A&L internet banking, it does say under balance, "unavailable", so something must be moving...at long last...0
