These are lovely especially the little owl

This site has a lot of blackwork designs (though most of them are quite large)

And you probably already know about this site as this is the designer of the owl

I've got quite a lot of Lizzie Kate designs - what were you looking for ?

Just had an email from Cross Stitch Heaven to say my order has been changed to Awaiting Stock - it then says they are awaiting card stock. Assume this means they will hold the whole order up. Could have done with the aida. Never mind my order that I placed through ebay has been despatched today so hopefully postie may have something for me tomorrow.

Have almost finished one of the fairies. Will post a picture later.

I don't think so - but I think there's only a few of us who have decided on something. If those joining in could remind us all what they are stitching, I can use my post on the first page to keep a record everyone's design and progress. (If that's okay with you all?)

I been uming and ahing and thinking - not a good combination. But I have taken the plunge and ordered some vintage lavender aida some purple skiens and going to do this blackwork (tho mine will be in purple as it is my best pals fave colour) and do it for my 12.12.12 project then give it to her for christmas.

This is the link to the design as I can't seem to copy the photo -

http://www.tamscreations.com/Documents/BLK%20CHALLENGE%201.pdf

I got a coupon for one of my survey sites and transfered it into paypal funds so didn't cost me too much - only about £2 extra.

I was at the Rural the other night there (Scottish Womens Rural Institute) and going to enter a show with a cross stitch book mark - so trying to think what to stitch.

Hope all is well where ever you are

following my earlier post, if anyone recognises this newton chart which featured in WOXS, can you tell me what issue its from? I'm not paying what this seller is charging for just the chart, I could probably get the whole magazine for that price!

was gonna try to track it down but see someone has found it. Tis a lovely design.
kinda off topic but not completly does anyone have any ideas how i can find out if there are any stitch and ***** groups near me ? feel it is about time, i started going out and leaving the hubby behind lol

Hubby got a wee promotion at work...He was only doing about 20 hours a week cleaning, and they have asked him if he would be willing to stay on as Housekeeper. So when he finishes his own job at 7pm he will stay on until Midnight.

His wages have doubled and due to him working more than 30 hours a week we get an extra £40 per week tax credits...

I am so pleased....xx
Thats brillint!!!!

Ok on the scrunge - does anyone have any links etc to a small fairy pattern that would be suitable to stitch as a Christmas gift for my cousin.
was gonna suggest the blackwork fairy initial but see you are sorted.

Re. size- I imagine not, and if we make huge cards it's our own cost to post it

Regarding content.....I have no issues whatsoever with anyone writing 'Happy Christmas' or suchlike so whoever is sending mine please don't feel you need to worry about PC-ness and put 'Happy Holidays' if it's not a phrase you use normally. Edit to add: Anything religious doesn't bother me either.
snap - tho i like cute and cheerful then religion (unless it's cartoony religion) - does that make sense?
Will do subtle but I'm on my way out. so i'll do it either tonight or in the morning

Receive my £50 m&s voucher ( for joining sky) and seen as how I never got to spend the bit I put aside from the ppi (bloody men) I'm going to drop littlest imp at nursery and go and spend it, now if only they sold cross stitch!

I saw your shopping spree on the Christmas thread but forgot to quote it............ well done you. Quite a haul.

Welcome to our two new stitchers...

To make the rules a bit clearer, we do sign our cards, just don't say on here or show our stitching until the reveal.
The card can be any size and I don't think any message would offend anyone. If it would please send me a pm and I will let you stitcher know.
We are not paired up but I numbered everyone and then randomly picked numbers so the person you are stitching for is not the person who is stitching for you.

Anymore questions, please feel free to pm or ask on here...

Thank you
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
