Which is the best website for free cross stitch charts

are you familiar with Pinterest ? It's worth joining just to browse the hundreds of free cross stitch charts (but I challenge you to just look at them and not go off at dozens of tangents !).

    Hello everyone

Hope you are all snuggled up warm - bitterly cold outside and very white.

Still have no update as I am still plodding through doing purple work.

Asked hubby to take a photo for me and he took both the back and the front - he said he wasn't sure what way was what and I was sleeping and didn't want to wake to ask.

    Back (being brave here).

So far in the front - only a week to go to target date.

Purplework was a free design I found on the web - http://www.tamscreations.com/Pages/Freebies.aspx - I have already done number one - present one is number two.

Off to watch a film on NOWTV (got free one month trial), try and work the xbox to do it and get on with some more stitching.

    Keep well everyone,

    sweetcarer ;)

Are you looking for something in particular ?

If so try Google. Say you are looking for frogs. Type in free cross stitch chart frog and once the listings come up, press images. This will show loads. Some won't be free but some will.

Also try the words freebie and patterns as well....xx

Not long returned from being out to find that our internet was still not working :( ...

phoned our broadband supplier who gave me a few things to try, the first of which has solved the problem :T so hey presto I can finally catch up with the world online.

Just wanted to say that one of the e-mails I have received is (purported to be) from Sant%nder ....

There is not much in the e-mail other than Latest statement and new interest rate available. and the e-mail contains an attachment (a htm file whatever this is). Since I don't bank with Santander, I suspect this is a trick e-mail. Just wanted to warn you all in case something similar lands in your in box. At first glance, it is easy to think it is a genuine e-mail.

Back to stitching news, bit miffed to get home and find no WOXS waiting for me. Wonder if been held up by weather. Can't remember if it usually arrives on the Saturday or the Monday before the publication on Thursday?

Winnie - agree that google is probably best if you are after something specific but if you just want to browse have you looked at kincavelkrosses.wordpress.com and also the makingspot, where some are free.

Sweetcarer - your purple work is looking good, the back is really tidy.

Chicky - followed the link to Dolly and ended up subscribing to 5 issues of cross stitch crazy. Not really sure how it happened. Whoops.
