Ive just got back from the nec its a cross stitchers dream

Makes a change - the last few I went to were getting more into card making etc.

Glad to be home now - not nice out there - wish I could hibernate all weekend and just stitch - bliss.

    Keep well girls,

    sweetcarer ;)

God it's cold here. I hope that you are warm and well. Have done a few hours stitching today but I have tired eyes so I've put it away now

I came across a lot of long stitch kits yesterday. Ive never heard of it. Is it difficult?
Long stitch is very easy. The only challenge is keeping your tension. Too loose and the stitches sag and too tight the fabric distorts. A frame ( not a hoop) makes all the difference. Do the kits use wool or cotton?

    Hi ladies.

Chicky. Batman and Robin are cute, especially Robin!

Maria. Look forward to seeing your birth sampler pics.

Louise. Hope you have a nice holiday.

    As for me.
I'm really enjoying stitching the Santa & Snowman, the colours are lovely and bright. Not done any stitching since thursday though but I hope to do some this weekend.
