I'm hoping to do a bit of stitching this weekend. :j Haven't managed ANY for weeks :( Sadly the house also needs a bit of a tidy up ....

I was having a nice relaxing evening until someone with a clipboard and a charity badge knocked at my door. To be fair I didn't really give them chance to speak and told them I wasn't interested but I had to tell them about 5 or 6 times and they clearly took great offense with the "have a nice evening" said through gritted teeth. I actually feel upset and a bit shaky (daft as that seems) but my OH is out at the moment and I really do not see the appeal of giving a complete strange my bank details.

I support charity in my own way. I wish I had said something other than I'm not interested now !!

It is probable that the person at your door was working on commission for a sales company. Do you remember the charity they were trying to get you to support? If so I would send an email to the Chief Executive of the charity - they need to know about the behaviour of contractors employed by them.

    Tinkerbell will definitely be worthwhile.

Love Tinkerbell, is it one of those sketch effect ones? I like those.

Just a quick pop in, who is Pauline M*****st? (don't want to post the full name on here), because I think your e-mail account has been hacked as I have been getting spam e-mails from you. So you might want to look in to that and change your password.

I've had a couple of spam looking emails over the past two days from that email account too.

    Hope you're doing ok, Soulie.

Good afternoon to all. I have made some keyrings that run our community craft fair and have now been asked if they are available in kit form. Does anyone on here have any suggestions about making up such a kit?

I recognised a couple of the other names/email addys on the email I got which is why I p[osted it here as I knew it could have only come from someone here who I have given my email to. I did report it as spam, so I shouldn't recieve anymore from that email addy.

I am doing well. Chemo went good yesterday, and was a lot quicker than the last time, so that was good, mind you, I spent a lot of time chatting with my neighbour and her son, so that helped to pass the time too. Just waiting for the achyness to kick back in again lol

Not done any stitching yet today. Been into the next town to me today and they had two lovely craft shops full of cross stitch, tapestry and wool. I resisted with the cross stitch until I finish this one but I did buy a thread storage box
I'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!

    Good News!!

Finally got round to hand washing lilliput lane cross stitch this afternoon in stardrops plus a little bit of pre wash soap (Morrisons version of Vanish) and the marks appear to have gone!!:j:j waiting for it to dry completely but so far so good

Just wanted to say thanks to Augustsmummy for the star drops suggestion and for others for their input too.

Have decided to finish that kit before starting the tatty ted kit with rabbit also planning to do a tatty ted card for my friends 30th in October just hoping she can find the alphabet from her tatty ted birth sampler as want to use it for the tatty ted with rabbits to put our daughters names on them plus could use the alphabet chart for her card.

Loving everyone's progress still popping in every day :)
