In off topic news, I was just after people's views on the best tv mag to buy that includes satellite listings. or perhaps a website to use ? A strange question to ask but I'm looking for a new source for my tv listings. I suspect the best option would be online ? I did have a subscription to Radi0 time$ but after they wrote to me telling me how much the subscription was going up in price, I've cancelled it !
in stitchy news, not managed any in the last week or so as had my nose in a book - Michael Connelly - The Black Box :j
Just a very quick pop in between scraping wallpaper...
Hubby loves Tv & satellite weekly. Used to buy it every week, although we haven't bought on since the Xmas special.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

I've been struggling to find a pattern I like. Ive seen a lovely photo on here but can't remember who it was but it was stained glass windows. Ive googled and found a pattern on ebay of four seasons stained glass windows. But im not sure if I could pull it off.I'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0

snowing here
We buy Daily Mail on a Sat just for tv listings - its a bit like Bible for DH through the week.I tend to use the guide on the freeview box.
Snowing here since mid morning. Seems quite fine but very windy and causing drifting.
The lurgy seems to be taking a hold. Had intended to do some xstitch now but I dont know whether I can be bothered. At least the holes are nice and big on 11ct so will be easy to spot with my bleary eyes.
Take care everyone and stay safe

Just had a quick peek on Eb@y and I came across this - dont know if its like anything you're after.. I quite like it but keep telling myself I must not add any more to 'to do' pile
. Good luck in your searching.

Ah I am doing a stained glass window thing... I got mine from Celtic Cross Needlecraft, the chart was £5.50... it's easy. No back stitch, no 1/2 cross stitch, lots of block colour. It's big, but not difficult... g'wan have a go. You can just do one window if you fancy. I love it... (by the way, the kit price is £65, which I think is extortionate... I reckon all the bits not incl. the chart would cost £30 if you sourced it sensibly) x

Hi all, I've done quite a bit on this now, really enjoying it too, hopefully will have it finished by the weekend.
I'm also trying very hard not to look at the links I keep seeing for new stash, I have enough without temptation :rotfl:StayHome * StaySafe * BeKind0 -

I doubt it, as you've posted a few times and has actually said thank you. We've had some people post once asking for help/charts and don't even bother to post again to say thanks once we've given advice. They are never seen again in the cafe and it's a bit upsetting to the regulars.
Welcome to all the newbies, by the way. I'll be back in soon for a catch up and look at the pics, but right now the decorating is taking up all my internet time. Miss you all!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27
