I love that it's fabI'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0 -
Hi ladies.
Crafty. Nice finishes, I especially like the Valentine Ribbon.
Louise. Glad your Nephew is ok and on the mend at home. Hope your Mum is ok.
Caroline. Snap! I have one piece in the downstairs loo and that's it, my other finishes are rolled up in a cupboard. Though my Mum has 2 Flower Fairies on display that I stitched for her birthday so some of my work is on show, just not here
I have a bird table design in my 'must stitch next' pile (along with some xmas designs) and I am defo framing it and having it on the wall, it's beautiful (to me anyway)
BEG. Nice update, it's looking good.
Mrsmp. Look forward to seeing finished Dragon.
Went shopping on saturday with hubby and got a new coat for my birthday next weekend. Also dragged him into Hobbycraft, I only went to have a look and came out with 2 more of those pilot frixion pens I raved about recently. I already have a few but couldn't resist them at £1 each in a clearance section.
I got a good couple of hours stitching time on sunday just before the Rugby. Had to put the stitching away once it started though as I kept getting distracted!
It snowed here a little overnight but is already melting. Looking out of the window as I type there's snow in the wind but I doubt it will settle.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Argh - I posted a reply this morning and its disappeared.
Crafty - some lovely finishes. I like the little pin cushion things, are they pin cushions?
Louise. Glad your Nephew is ok, hope yiur Mum is also ok. I bet it was scary being in the car when the smoke was coming out of it.
BEG. Nice update, the pig in a tutu made me smile. Good luck with Sleeping Beauty.
Mrsmp. Look forward to seeing finished dragon.
Have finished tidying my craft room, it looks really good so might manage some sewing later in the week. I have to confess that I have an illness, its called collecting cross stitch, material and tioletries itus.
I must have 8 olay face washes, 5 packs of wipes, 6 face creams, m8 bottles of shampoo and uncountable body washes etc. Also found 5 cross stitch kits I'd forgotten I had and loads of material. I feel like I've been shopping. Luckily I still like what I've found.
Also managed to find my missing turtle pattern. Going to be really good and fjnish turtle (or at least do more of it) before I start something new.
Off to play Florence nightingale now, both hubby and son are ill. Means undisturbed stitching tonight.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

I started when my daughter was 5. She will be 25 next month

Hello girls,
Glad to be home. Not looking forward to tomorrow - feel I am going to get a b*ll*king.
At training I was told how to it one way, get back to work and told by my line manager to do it another. My current manager said I should of done it the training way. Feeling so sick, just wanted to vent - sorry I took it out on you - hubby is out seeing some friends so just me and the cat just now.
Keep well everyone

Hello everyone :hello:
I was searching cross stitch and it bought up MSE so here I am .
All I've done in the way of cross stitch is the odd free gift you get with mags and haven't even done them in years .. I don't know what made me search "turn photo into a cross stitch chart" but I did and found pic2pat.com now I'm all excited to a try and stitch my dog photo.. I have always wanted a pic of him blown up huge and framed so this will be even better ..
Im hoping you ladies ( gents if there are any ) will be able to offer some advice as I embark on this huge mission .. I have got a chart made up for a 12x12 piece I thought that would be a nice size
It wont let me post a image link to show youI guess cuz Im new
I'm goign to go read through your cafe posts now and hopefully will get to chat to some of you in the morning
