Another sleepless night. Not sure what is up but I seem to be doing this at least once a week now. Haven't been doing much stitching as I found yet another app on hubbys phone. This one is called 4 pics 1 word and is even more addictive than Coin Dozer. Started playing it on Monday and am up to level 309..lol;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)0

Across town stitching.. fast, cheap, reliable
Currently 50 for £16.
Pay by paypal on her site and then email a list of the ones you want. Usually takes a couple of days.0 -

Hi Cornish 1979. Does your name reflect what part of the world you live in?
I usually get my threads from Sew and So although I did spot that the Trago Mills in Falmouth sells threads (I was in there last week) but I think it was anchor that they had for sale and they were 70 odd pence each?0 -
In off topic news, I was just after people's views on the best tv mag to buy that includes satellite listings. or perhaps a website to use ? A strange question to ask but I'm looking for a new source for my tv listings. I suspect the best option would be online ? I did have a subscription to Radi0 time$ but after they wrote to me telling me how much the subscription was going up in price, I've cancelled it !
in stitchy news, not managed any in the last week or so as had my nose in a book - Michael Connelly - The Black Box :j0 -

Flat Eric we buy the Daily mail on saturday their 'weekend' mag is really good and has all the relivant tv and radio listings in.
winniepooh id say most on here use DMC or Anchor.
i would be wary of using too cheap or no known brands incase they prove to be not colour fast, after spending ages stitching the last thing you would want is your piece being ruined by colours bleeding or fading.
started tinkerbell last night, it is really hard counting the threads on uneven evenweave to back stitch an outline, ive only got one arm done so far
snowing hereSPC~12 ot 124

Afternoon,
Winniepooh - I tend to use Anchor kits and have no complaints. I am currently working on a Bothy Kit, and it is good quailty - but I do struggle a little with deciding which parts to do in 2 strands or just 1, as it isn't very clear IMO.
But other than that small niggle I have no issues with the kits.
I would avoid kits made by companies you haven't heard of.
Kathd23 - Could you maybe adapt a Tinkerbell cross sticth like this one by adding baby's name and date of birth to it? (haven't used the site so not sure if they are any good - just using the link to illustrate).
Not done much stitching, as under the weather (again!) but hoping to get some done this weekend.
