dont know if anyone else has had the letter from boothy threads today about their spring sale. if you buy one full priced kit you can have as many others as you like at half price.. it says this offer is NOT available on their website. worth looking out for if you're on their mailing list.
its says you can order as many kits as you (or your friends want)SPC~12 ot 124

Ah, thankyou ladies, you’re all so kind. To answer a couple of questions: it’s not a kit, I bought the chart nearly 10 years ago as it reminded me of my honeymoon. Because the black areas aren’t stitched, I chose evenweave, started stitching, realised I was completely out of my depth and put it away for years! I dug it out again in 2011 planning to get it finished as a surprise for our 10th anniversary hence the January deadline that’s now past. I had originally thought to stitch in the black areas too but I know if I start, I will regret it
Louise – Love your sunset too. I don’t know how you manage to have so many things on the go at once, I’d never get anything finished like that!
Thanks for the comments on White Lightening too. I guess I will have to be brave and look at it, I’m too close to finishing to not try. Not just yet though, I really want to get sunset finished despite struggling with the black fabric, and I’m going to need good natural light to sort out the threads since “darling” puppy chewed the cardboard thread sorter they were all on…
Happy stitching everyone.

This is the project I have decided to get out and try again. It is a nightmare, the pattern has symbols which aren't on the pattern, ones which are a colour which even DMC dont know what it is, so am doing all the colours with symbols them will try and work out the rest, have decided it's not going to beat me. Teach me to buy a pattern from ebay

You should see the rest of my WIP box....:o:o:o
I know it seems muddled but I get loads completed really, I think it helps when I skip from one project to another as it means I never get bored. Trying to have computer free evenings as I switch on the computer to check a couple of things and end up switching it off at bedtime ! Crafycrafty - yiur square is really lovely and you've finished it really quickly. I'm doing a square for one of the teachers so I've decided to do an owl. It's a Kincavelkrosses free design called Whoo-ho? Me too? Not going to start it yet, might take it to work as a lunchtime piece although as I only have lunch there twice a week and only half hour it may not be worth it. Looking forward to Kiss updates.
Maria - Lets sew has been really fast unless you've been snowed in and spent all day stitching. We had more snow again last night but roads seem ok.
Flateric - good luck with the no computer evening. Might join you as it does use up so much time.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Thats good news JCS1! I got an email as well saying that the things would be sent this week!!
I'm really impressed craftycrafty - that is a beautiful square. Thats super annoying about the pattern not having proper references to colours. I hope that you manage to get it sorted out. It looks like a large desgin.
I didn't get any stitching done last night as I wasn't feeling that great. Hopefully tonight I'll get some done.
Have a lovely day everyone!:)0 -

it took 3 nights and 1 hour during the day monday so it comes together really quickly

Hi ladies.
Mrsmp. Really like the Trotters and the butterfly is lovely.
Couldsavemore. Hope you are feeling ok after your fall and the bruising isn't too bad.
ASC. Welcome! Safari Sunset is looking great.
JCS. Like mrsmp I to thought you had stitched it yourself! What's the back of the stitching look like? They must have a machine to do that stitching, surely?
Chicky. Nice DOH update, is coming along nicely.
Ejs. Welcome back! Nice sampler, very festive. I love the cat in the bag, very cute.
Crafty. Nice work on the hands and feet heart, it's lovely. Good luck with your ebay bought chart, sounds like a PITA!
Maria. Let's Sew is brilliant, I really like it.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
