Stitcher - have you ever had your delivery from Across Town Stitching? Post arrived today and nothing (other than new issue of Cross Stitcher :D) so have put another reminder on their facebook page.

Just opened subscriber issue of Cross Stitcher - if anyone wants the free gift of 6 self cover buttons and accompanying booklet let me know (otherwise I will have to put them in the drawer and increase the number of items I will never use :rotfl:)

Apologies for all the posts this evening - can you tell OH is out and I can finally get to the computer :rotfl:

Purchased this cross stitch top from Sainsbury's at the weekend, I have looked on their website but can't find it, so pictures instead:

  • i like the idea of clubbing together for Sandy hook quilt squares (gonna do one after DOH) - perhaps if we set an internal deadline of posting to whoever sends it (i don't mind if people want me to do it? tho I would suggest we sent to whoever has done the most) of 1st July?

I am half way thro DOH so here's my update......

OK so this is now my third time of trying to reply to Chickys post.

Chicky - I'm sure you're the only one that noticed that you'd used green on gh9e sea and not blue. Anyway who says that the sea cant be greeen. Its looking really good, I'm sure your friend will be really pleased with it. When's the deadline date for it?

chicky the sea can be green as well there is a colour called 'sea green' isnt there. if you dont say see wont notice. ! didnt, i think the update looks great you are doing really well with it. whens it needed for?

having cut my piece of adia for sandy hook i think ill only be able to do one square as that all the pale 14ct adia i can find. wont the quilts be huge or is that just me? i just thought the squares would be smaller but ive double checked and it is in inches.

    opps sorry manners Morning all

Mrs MP - I thought the same about the Sandh Hook squares. Some of he quilts have over 30 people signed up so by my recogning (?) that's 6ft x 5ft and that's not allowing for borders.

We've also had more snow over night and still flurries. Sons school text at 6.00am to say they are opening at 10. Won't manage car on hill so he is walking - one VERY unhappy 14 year old.
