    Hi ladies.

Mrsmp. Look forward to seeing your finished Angel. Good luck completing your planned list!

Pinknfluffy. Hi and welcome. Look forward to seeing your work in the future.
The Tatty Teddies, could you get one of those longish photo frames with space for 4 seperate pics and put the teds in there?

JCS. How cute is she?! She's much bigger than I imagined, not that I have any experience of the size of a newborn lamb but you know what I mean :D

Bossy. Glad you got your unpicking sorted, I'm sure we have all been there!

Mags. Nice Dragon, really like the bright colours. I agree with Louise, think the frame works well with the colours used.

    Louise. Nice finishes.

Moments. Ouch! Hope you are pain free soon.

    Caroline. Nice SH squares.

Sweetcarer. Hope you feel better soon. Lovely calender, very pretty.

FOS. Look forward to seeing your lovely pieces framed. I especially like the Mystery Garden sampler.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

Chicky I read this rule a bit differently to you. I thought it meant that if you weren't stitching the standard sized square then not to put a name on it, as it wouldn't be able to be used for the quilts but would be used elsewhere. However if you were stitching on the pale aida, 14 count and the correct size then you could put names on it...There are quite a lot on the Facebook page with names on..

    Oh, I hope I haven't picked it up wrong...xx

Caroline, I read it the same as you.

Just back in from the Royal Children's Hospital. Phoned my doctor on call at 3pm as Jaxon was sick, and they couldn't give me an appointment until 8pm so took him on up to the hospital. He has another severe ear infection and bronchiolitis. Poor wee man is just screaming and screaming. Won't eat, drink or sleep.

The doctor we phoned said they are so busy at the minute as people are using up their time complaining about this bug that is going about or the flu. I understand that people are worried, but please think about why you are phoning the doctor, if it is not really urgent then wait until your own surgery is open. The doctor we seen at the hospital said they have seen cases like the flu and bug all day and have just been advising people to drink fluids, and also it is quite dangerous for them to go to a clinic or hospital as they could spread the virus to less abled people.
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)
  • ahh hope little man feels better soon caroline

Single lambs tend to be about 5 - 6 lbs when born, with twins and triplets being less. We did have a lamb last year which was a c-section at the vets - vet was amazed and weighed him 22.5lbs:eek:
  • I have had a busy day today, I have finally bordered my frog cross stitch and made it into a cushion. I bought a £1.50 cot quilt from the charity shop, unpicked it all, cut the material to size and the unpicked the cushion I bought from the Dunelm sale and remade using the new fabric and then attached it to the original cushion back.

I think it as turned out really well :j

Thanks Maria, DH was made redundant in June last year and has been unable to find permanent work since, he does temp but over the last couple of weeks the agency have only had 15 hours work a week so we are quite hard up at the minute. I try and make use of what I have or like the blanket by a charity shop one for the material, that way I get to continue doing my cross stitch and other crafts for very little money.

I put a notice on Freecycle yesterday asking for any cross stitch bits people had and I had a lovely reply from one lady who gave me about 50 cross stitch magazines (lots of free charts now) and another lady very kindly offered me a couple of kits, threads, free standing floor frame and some Aida so very very pleased :j

Onwards and upwards as they say :rotfl:
